Scores are divided in 2 leaderboards: Daily Challenge and Normal Scores (through game center). Game Center leaderboards don't include scores obtained in Daily Challenges because if you have 2 devices, you can play on one of them, then watch the replay of the best player in the leaderboard, then copy what he did on your second device and get the same score. There are just "you can strat playing daily challenge" but no the "Play" buttom diego_cath Well-Known Member Mar 18, 2015 140 0 0 #10 diego_cath, Apr 15, 2015 Yes, that's right. You can't start playing Daily Challenge right after you download the game, you need to wait until 0:00 GMT. If you could start playing immediately, you would be able to delete the app, then re-download and play the challenge as many times as you wanted. I'm actually a bit biased AGAINST GC leaderboards: -GC leaderboards are easily hacked. -Bogus GC scores appear to be near impossible to cull. -Resetting a GC leaderboard completely is impossible, so if scoring is significantly changed the devs are usually forced to create an all new leaderboard. -Too many devs using GC leaderboards get lazy, requiring the player to access GC just to see their top local scores. It is my firm belief that local scores should ALWAYS be easily accessible in-game without requiring me to access GC (which can be slow to update). diego_cath Well-Known Member Mar 18, 2015 140 0 0 #12 diego_cath, Apr 15, 2015 Last edited: Apr 15, 2015 Well to be clear the game only tracks 2 scores locally: best win and maximum score. These are saved in your device, so you don't need to load GC to see them. I might add a "personal high sores" section with your top 10 scores or something like that in the next update. Now, regarding GC: yes, there are a lot of people who hack their scores, but it is also easy to delete those scores and block those players. Also, in Arcane Tower scores come with meta-info (most used spell and other things), which should make it even easier to catch hackers. Makes me think of when Lord British was "assassinated " in his own stronghold online. But without the rambling - I'm gonna buy your game now.
