I saw it in AppStore. psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,971 722 113 England #11 psj3809, Apr 2, 2015 I get your point, i find it frustrating when Tapper came out and was a huge size due to flashy graphics whereas i just preferred the original arcade game which was tiny. BUT i must admit having the original NES game on my phone plus the new one is quite cool Checked out this video of Duck Tales on another system and it does look great... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsCAw45fafc I'm going in ! Wish me luck ! (I'm glad it is truely a 'remastered' version rather than messing about with levels or changing the gameplay) russiaone Well-Known Member Jan 4, 2009 1,300 0 36 Pimp San Francisco #12 russiaone, Apr 2, 2015 Keep us posted, PSJ. Just need to know how the game controls. psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,971 722 113 England #13 psj3809, Apr 2, 2015 Right here we go (I'm happy i got that 128 gig iphone Options have 'lefty mode and swap buttons' which is a nice touch really (and button opacity). Music on the main screens stuttering a bit, odd. Looks like they added a 'skip' button in for some of the scenes which is good (that was one criticism on the video of Duck Tales on another system) Actually going to reset my phone (and did seem to have 10 apps running in the background !). Right back to it Cool i can skip the intro scene. Anyway the controls, you have arrows on the left hand side, a small left/right/up/down one. You can slide your finger from left to right etc which is good. Two buttons on the right for jump and the pogo stick. Good you can change opacity of the buttons, the main direction controls look a bit ugly but seem to work fine. Playing the first level, graphics are gorgeous. Dont get me wrong i'm a retro gamer so its all about gameplay to me (rather than flashy graphics) but this does look great and plays well. From what i've read about this on other versions theres a LOT of content here. Yeah its expensive but its a quality 'console platformer' as they say. Happy to have this remastered version on my iphone. So far so good. russiaone Well-Known Member Jan 4, 2009 1,300 0 36 Pimp San Francisco #14 russiaone, Apr 2, 2015 Last edited: Apr 2, 2015 PSJ FTW! I am free to pursue whatever I want from what my money can buy and get enjoyment from whatever I want. My statement was just harmless wishful thinking. No need to go over the top and get upset. We have a quality re-mastered version of a classic on iOS and still people moan about something like game centre (which adds nothing to the gameplay).
