Go through psychedelic portals, solve abstract puzzles, explore grand minimal forms or race against the stars. A science-fiction experience unlike any other game. THE DESIGN A cinematic game with stunning movie-like graphics, each chapter is visually unique and explores an original concept with completely new game mechanics. THE MUSIC 60+ minutes of original soundtrack to heighten your sense of wonder. The soundtrack features a variety of genres and has been tailored to every movement on the screen. Best experienced with headphones. PHILOSOPHY Last Voyage is a game about space that is not about spaceships but rather what lies beyond our culture and technology. A game where you don't master a single task but rather explore a range of concepts. As a result, the levels are sometimes mysterious, and other times very direct. Sometimes completely still, and other times moving at the speed of light. While these chapters form a continuous narrative, you are constantly surprised with new ways to interact as you seamlessly transition from one chapter to another. Information Seller:Semidome Inc. Looks great, on the purchase list for tonight without a doubt. NOEN Well-Known Member Jul 31, 2012 3,245 0 0 U.S. #4 NOEN, Apr 1, 2015 I have no clue what's going on here, but I'm buying it. I imagine it's something best experienced first hand but just a basic idea of whether it's worth picking up would be great, cheers guys Semidome Well-Known Member Mar 16, 2015 132 1 16 #7 Semidome, Apr 1, 2015 So happy you guys are interested! The surprising nature of Last Voyage is one of the highlights of the game so we've tried not to reveal too much. I can tell you that gameplay-wise some people categorize it as 5 unique games in one and these 5 chapters combine to form a continuous journey through space. We can't wait for you to get your hands on it and hear what you think! Will definitely take a look once it's available in Europe. touchy85 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2015 1,616 1 38 #9 touchy85, Apr 1, 2015 Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Valentia Well-Known Member Patreon Gold Jan 20, 2009 618 1 18 Female Retired! Oh, I just realized that Semidome did Kotoro, which is some of the most fun I've ever had with my iPad! Now I am chomping at the bit for Last Voyage to come out here. So much for going to bed early! Last Voyage should be very similar in overall atmosphere to Kotoro as we started developing it right after that. Not much meat on its ultra cool bones. redribbon Well-Known Member Jun 11, 2010 2,799 53 48 entepreanur, programmer #13 redribbon, Apr 2, 2015 The Gameplay: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel netmute Well-Known Member Mar 14, 2012 45 0 6 #14 netmute, Apr 2, 2015 I like it. Like poppin' acid and staring at the iTunes visualizer. Immediately followed by the most unfair bullet hell you've ever played. Seriously, stage 5 is impossibly hard. I'm not some FPS playing 15 year old kid anymore, I'm old and slow Andre Well-Known Member Apr 11, 2012 3,643 2 38 #15 Andre, Apr 2, 2015 Cool and colourful game. It's awesome!!! EightRooks Well-Known Member Jan 13, 2012 627 0 0 UK #16 EightRooks, Apr 2, 2015 Yeah, not for me, I'm afraid. It's pretty, but it's painfully short and just doesn't do enough to dress up the fact it's five brief puzzles presented with vaguely artful minimalist visuals. Most of them are almost literally just very slowly left, right, left, right, left, right through what looks like an old Windows screensaver. And level 5 is an annoying difficulty spike for no apparent reason - I could probably finish it, but I don't think I can be bothered. I'm just not finding it much fun. Devs, seriously, if you want to evoke the kind of mood that suggests this is more than just a videogame or something, perhaps don't have messages constantly popping up saying "DON'T HIT THE RED OBJECTS" et al? It was less than a pound, so I'm hardly about to complain... but I'm not impressed. Really sorry, but I simply didn't find it a particularly memorable experience or an interesting game. pimago Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Mar 14, 2014 66 0 0 http://gassycat.blogspot.com #17 pimago, Apr 2, 2015 Saw this at AppSpy's Twitch channel yesterday. Loved level 4 (hello 2001), level 5 is the only stage being slightly challenging. Still, you'll finish this game in a couple of minutes. But it's a beautifully designed little trip. Sounds and graphics are wonderful. Regarding gameplay, it borrows some concepts here and there but doesn't take them very far. Would love to see more "game" in this style. More fleshed out levels and challenges, even a deeper story. But as an atmospheric nod to great thinking man's sci-fi like 2001, it's good. rpgmaster Member Mar 29, 2015 11 1 1 #19 rpgmaster, Apr 2, 2015 Been waiting to play this for such a long time! We do plan on adding additional(possibly free) chapters to the game where we can explore other ideas with perhaps more challenging gameplay mechanics.
