There is also a bit of strategy involved when using ammo vs using obstacles. Tons of objectives, good visuals, a bit of lore (diary pages), and very good swipe-only controls make for one solid runner worthy of a spot in your iOS device. What I can say after the first 10 minutes is that it's a very hard game. You swipe left/right/up to throw objects onto the zombies. You can swipe down to pick up a gun and shoot the zombies, I think the kills get you some bonus points for your final score. So far I'm enjoying it, although I never got passed 200meters. Just look for the color change in the lights, that will alert you to corners, weapons, and obstacles. As for variation the characters don't have any real difference that I could see besides their looks and the crazy stuff they shout out as the run (worth playing with the sound on) also there's a story that you piece together with pages you find. You can earn money (rations) with your distance and also kills plus theirs also extra rations scattered along the way, you can also watch videos to earn them something I didn't really have to do much. The game does not force you to spend a dime. In the beta I'm almost at door 15 and I'm only missing two more pages, that's how much I've enjoyed this game, it's great to jump on for a few runs at a time.
