No iap, the dev has dropped it down to a buck... What more do they have to do to make a few sales? This is the type of thing that should be bought and supported without blinking. Because it is on iOS. loox Well-Known Member Feb 9, 2011 76 0 6 #20 loox, Mar 24, 2015 Ok. I've been playing it. Yes, it is definitely like fieldrunners with the mazing. But I'd say it is much more like Towermadness, especially graphically, with the whole 3D top down thing going on. The tower types are much more varied than either of those two games. This adds variety but in some ways created a more complex system to learn, and not in a hard way and definitely not in a bad way. Meanwhile Id say it's also simpler in some ways in that there is no way to dig waaaay deep into stats, also not such a bad thing. That the many varied enemy types and tower types are more complex than other TD titles. And that the deeper stats of each tower lie just beneath the surface makes it simpler than other titles, both things taken together create a difficulty that is just right. In other words where this game stands out is that it's strategy comes together in a unique way. There are a myriad ways to complete each map, and the strategy for this includes a combination of tower placement and tower type that differs greatly from the other titles I mentioned. If you want to spiral enemies around AOE towers then you can create that scenario, while someone else will use many fast shooting towers for the same map, while yet another will use some more exotic towers to create totally unbefore seen scenarios other than the two standard scenarios you find in most other titles. This is not to imply the game isn't challenging. It is, especially on hard difficulty. The strategy of the maps I've played seem to require a theme, or game plan based on whatever towers you think synergies best, or most fun, to complete a map. Then you further strategize I order to create the map. Again, the tower types widely vary so you can replay the maps over with an entirely different approach. The challenge is them tweaking your theme (towers) and placement and timing to pull off the three star win. Where this game also stands out is in its graphics. It's polished yes, but There is a lot of whimsy there. And while the playful towers and enemies might not be for everyone, I believe the game is absolutely recommendable. If you're still not sure, there is a free demo to download. Much respect to the developers for foregoing IAP AND giving a free demo. That took guts and it's probably because they have a good game on their hands. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
