The quality isn't all that great, but you can see how the gameplay works in both game modes (puzzle and lightning). If you have any questions feel free to ask, I'll gladly answer them here. Cheers, Anku macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #9 macplash, Mar 19, 2015 So is it tilt controls only or is there an option to switch to touch controls as well? Anku_RI Member Apr 29, 2014 18 0 0 Poland #10 Anku_RI, Mar 19, 2015 For now only tilt - we were thinking about adding touch controls as well, but as the game already requires you to tap different parts of the screen on various situations (using Core Burst to heal the shield, acquiring Powers, defending against Viruses, etc.) - it would be hard to play that way. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #11 macplash, Mar 19, 2015 Ok, I bought the game, because it looks fantastic. Even from the screenshots. In motion it's just fantastic. I love the style. The tutorial is well made, it's explanatory enough and easily understandable. I like the music, completes the visuals perfectly. Puzzle mode is challenging, I made it barely to the 2nd stage even though I'm leading the game center's leaderboards as of right now. Unfortunatelly, the controls are a big letdown. It doesn't matter it's tilt only for now, but it's messed up for some reason. Instead of proper recognition, sometimes it starts shaking. Most of the time it gets stuck for a milliseconds instead of changing direction smoothly. And the worst thing is, if you trying to play with inversed controls, sometimes it's working correctly and suddenly it's regular instead inverted. If you're being very careful and making very slow and slight movements, it's working most of the time. But the moment you need to move your device faster, it gets messed up. For a fast paced game like this the controls must be flawless, perfectly responsive. It's not the case here. And it ruins the experience. I can take the fact I suck at game because of my reflexes or lack of skill, but loosing constantly because flawed controls? That's just unacceptable. I tried to adjust controls, increase or decrease the sensitivity, but the problem remains. I tried the game on my iPad mini with retina but I am going to try on iPhone as well to rule out it's device based. But I'm afraid it's not that. If there's an option for touch control, I assume this wouldn't be happening. I can easily imagine the touch controls similar to Flop Rocket, just sliding your thumbs on sides of the screen. But, it's just tilt and it's not working as expected. I'm disappointed atm, but still hope it's possible to fix. Anyway, I'm going to try on iPhones as well, we'll see... Anku_RI Member Apr 29, 2014 18 0 0 Poland #12 Anku_RI, Mar 19, 2015 Thanks for letting us know about the issue. I would really like to know if you have the same problem on the iPhone? It's weird, as we had beta testers checking the game and I spent tons of hours playing it on an iPad mini with retina (just like yours) and didn't experience any of those problems. We will do some heavy tests now - if anyone else here have the same problem please let us know. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #13 macplash, Mar 19, 2015 Yeah, I don't know how to recreate the issue on demand. I just played four games in a row without any issues, than the message came (on iMessage) and the controls just broke down the same moment. I tried on iPhone 6 and it was working ok, but I didn't play a lot. Just a game or two. On iPhone 4S it's complicated to see the colors correctly because the screen is too small and I'm not enjoying the games on small screen at all. So I'm not gonna try on 4S anymore. On iPad mini with retina, when it was working fine for those four games in a row, I earned an upgrade and two achievements which is nice and I'd love to enjoy the game much more. I'll play more to test the controls further and let you know. forsakenxe Well-Known Member Oct 23, 2014 709 0 16 #14 forsakenxe, Mar 19, 2015 Looks nice on my wish list for now. If you devs want one more tester (iPad Air 2, iOS 8.1.2) pm me, would gladly help out, as this game seems really well made. Cheers! Anku_RI Member Apr 29, 2014 18 0 0 Poland #15 Anku_RI, Mar 19, 2015 Ok, we found the problem. It happens when you hold your iPad in the landscape mode with the Home Button on the right side. As a workaround please play the game with the Home Button on the left First update will be coming very soon, it seems Anku_RI Member Apr 29, 2014 18 0 0 Poland #16 Anku_RI, Mar 19, 2015 Glad to hear you're interested For now it seems we found the problem, so if you're unsure about buying the game please wait until we release the update. Cheers, Anku macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #17 macplash, Mar 19, 2015 Interesting! When I'm holding iPad in the landscape mode, the home button is of course on the right side, which is the same for most players I guess. I believe it's acceptable for a short period of time. I tried to play a few games and it's not that terrible. I didn't experience the issue yet but the really funny thing is I had to switch back to normal mode (instead of inverted one) so the device's position clearly matters. Unfortunatelly, as I'm not disctracted by the controls anymore, I finally realize how difficult the game is and how bad I am in it so far. Let's see if some practice helps. As for now, those achievements seems impossible to accomplish. Btw, is it possible to reset upgrades I bought? I unlocked Battery Capacity 1 and I realized I don't even know what's the point of having more units of additional energy for my core. I eqquiped it to my first free slot but I can't say the difference. And also, are upgrades from Tier 3 and up encrypted for a reason? Or is everythign there the same as in previous tiers but with higher level number only? Anyway, it's great to hear the bug was found so fast and is being fixed soon. I appreciate it. Very impressive, exemplar developer! I can say it was a pleasure to support you with the purchase. Adsinjapan Well-Known Member Aug 7, 2013 181 0 0 #18 Adsinjapan, Mar 19, 2015 This game is frustratingly beautiful! Seriously, I've never been both THIS mesmerized by a game before, and hair-pullingly ticked off (but in a good way). It certainly is challenging, but in a very satisfying way. Oh god. The colors! So....pretty. Like a fly, tripping on acid, buzzing towards a luminescent zapper. Anku_RI Member Apr 29, 2014 18 0 0 Poland #19 Anku_RI, Mar 19, 2015 Practice will help and after some time you will be shocked how easy the low levels are. It's a funny thing actually - when we got better at the game the low levels felt too easy and boring, so we gradually increased their difficulty (2nd stage had 4 shield parts instead of 3, some harder waves of orbs appeared earlier, etc.). When we showed the game to some of our friends and started the beta tests we were shocked that nobody can beat the first stage! Then we realized our mistake and undid all the nasty thing we've done to those poor low levels There is no possibility to reset them now, but we're thinking about adding that option (it will probably be limited to once per week). The Battery Capacity is a good upgrade and was used by us to complete the hardest achievement in the game (we did complete all of them) How it helps you now? The Core Burst ability uses a certain amount of the energy - with this upgrade Core accumulates more than you need, so after you use it, you already have a bit for the next burst, which means you will be able to use it faster. At higher tiers there are new upgrades that aren't available earlier + higher levels of those low level upgrades. They are encrypted to motivate you and because the encryption looks cool. We did an "emergency" meeting today as we felt this bug is serious and requires fast response. The guys are fixing the last small thing now and we're sending the new update to Apple when they're finished.
