I can't even win a quick match, which prevents unlocking the short tournament. One thing that seems off is how high the ball bounces into the back court. There are shots that are impossible because if you're playing back court, the rebound on the ball is too far up for you to be able to swing at (or maybe it's the stickman is too short?) Most of this game works amazingly and accurately, but the ball bounce is just a tad too much. I really like what's here though. bigrand1 Well-Known Member Apr 23, 2010 4,968 7 38 Geriatric Party Animal California, USA #6 bigrand1, Mar 12, 2015 Not looking for a code. But I hope this version is better than the Android version. It leaves a lot to be desired. Already deleted it! heikPhone Well-Known Member Patreon Top Tier Sep 5, 2010 566 2 18 #7 heikPhone, Mar 12, 2015 Thank you very much for the feedback, really appreciated. Did you play with the YOU-player? This one has very low stats at the beginning and it won't be possible to beat one of the big stars. The goal is to improve your player by playing matches and tournaments. So while the stats go up, you will be able to beat the better players, too. However, if you don't want to start with the YOU-Rookie you can also select any other player as yours from the spot. Regarding the ball bouncing... we will definitely check that! djstout Well-Known Member Jul 21, 2011 2,685 105 63 Sportscaster & football (soccer) coach Taiwan & Japan #8 djstout, Mar 12, 2015 Hi there, well I wont ask for a promo code as if the game is good I'll happily pay 1 dollar for it which is only 1/5 of a Coffee in town ^^ but I want to know what's so different between Stickman tennis and SMT 2015? heikPhone Well-Known Member Patreon Top Tier Sep 5, 2010 566 2 18 #9 heikPhone, Mar 12, 2015 Hi, the main differences... - You can play with your own player, name and customize him and improve his stats. (But you can still decide to play one of the pre defined players) - Enormous graphic update & redesign - New tournaments and seasons There are also tons of little improvements to the old version that you will discover. And hey... I'll send you a promo code anyways Enjoy your coffee Jsami Well-Known Member Feb 18, 2009 62 1 8 #10 Jsami, Mar 12, 2015 This really is a great game. If you live the entire stickman series and the developers, it's a must get for your collection. The minor detail that needs improving is the ability to run and return quicker. The controls work well and i like the ability to choose from automatic running or normal running where you control your players movement. "The minor detail that needs improving is the ability to run and return quicker." Did you play the YOU-player or one of the preset (top) players? In case you played your own character (YOU-player), the abilities will improve by collecting upgrade points, that you can then use to improve your player. There are still plenty of times where I'm going to try to cover a shot, and now I can't tell if it's overall movement speed of the players feeling sluggish or that their size plays into the hit box on return shots. It's really hard to explain, other than the guys feel too small or slow for such a big court. Proportionally speaking, it feels like they should be covering more ground on the court, or able to reach farther out for those tough shots. To be clear, I'm not talking about obvious winner shots that the AI (or I) clearly deserved. There seems to a lot of mid shots or deep shots that are troubling. Same with serves. There are shots tht should be in range, but unless I'm psychic and guess where the AI is going to serve, staying in the middle ground leads to many shots that are out of reach. kopicha Well-Known Member Feb 21, 2015 716 25 28 IT #15 kopicha, Mar 12, 2015 I too enjoy this game much, personally Tennis could be one of those sport games that I like most. This I cannot find much flaw to it. The graphics simple clean and nice. Stickman looks more cute now lol. I like their random gestures/actions. Some are pretty funny. Sound effects are really well done here too considering this isn't suppose to simulate a fully realistic tennis game? Now for some of the negative part. I do have to agree with some here about the movement speed. I did tried to upgrade quite a bit of speed. Like from the default 50 up to 62 but still kinda felt the movement is a little sluggish at times? Which makes it almost impossible to react to certain situation despite you expecting the outcome of where the ball is going to land. Also I am not sure if it is just me but at times I sorta feel like there is collusion bug of some sort with the ball detection. As there are times where I am pretty sure I am close enough to the ball and hit the action but stickman just dont do anything and miss it completely. So it is really pretty challenging to win most of the time due to that. Personally I am usually pretty good on Tennis games but I suck so hard at first. And still having hard time to get stickman in full control Other than that so far things are really great and fun. Only additional thing I would hope for is that it would be nice if we can duel with friends via game center. Or unless it is there but I didnt notice? Also last thing is there a 4 player match like 2 v 2? Sorry I am still at the early tourney so have not seen enough to know everything. djstout Well-Known Member Jul 21, 2011 2,685 105 63 Sportscaster & football (soccer) coach Taiwan & Japan #16 djstout, Mar 12, 2015 Thank you very much for the code, I'll try it and write a review heikPhone Well-Known Member Patreon Top Tier Sep 5, 2010 566 2 18 #17 heikPhone, Mar 13, 2015 Last edited: Mar 13, 2015 Ok thank you very much for the analysis. Also to you the question: On which difficulty level do you play (Easy / Medium / Hard / Pro) ? worldcitizen1919 Well-Known Member Jun 27, 2012 1,615 0 36 #19 worldcitizen1919, Mar 13, 2015 Comparing this to Stick Tennis I'd say this is a much more accurate tennis simulation that depends more on skill as in real, tennis whereas Stick Tennis as long as you keep smashing the ball you'll win. I like the breakdown at the end of how many errors and double faults etc as it gives an indication of how you're skills are. I tend to over shoot the ball into touch a lot but I've had some great games where pure skill has got me across the line not luck and that's a welcome change for a tennis game. I've never played this tennis game before probably the big heads turned me off. I'd much prefer human heads but that's personal preference. This is IAP DNE RIGHT. TA and everyone here should heap accolades on these guys the way they've given you the option to view video after video to hai. Experience points at least so you'll be competititive. That's how the IAP saga should be handled. If you watch enough videos you'll get experience and the devs will get paid. I think all games should use this system the way these guys have implemented it. Other games do have videos but not implemented like this. You can watch videos continuously to build up a large arsenal of XP then train what aspects you want. Or you can purchase. Either way the devs get paid. And I've already downloaded a few of the games from videos I watched. But as a Tennis game it's a much more realistic game than Stick Tennis and you'll have to develop skill to win it. heikPhone Well-Known Member Patreon Top Tier Sep 5, 2010 566 2 18 #20 heikPhone, Mar 13, 2015 Thank you very much for the nice feedback, really appreciated!!
