It was supposed to be a "love letter to video games". No ads or IAP whatsoever. Just a guy making a game for us to enjoy. Sounds good to me. About to try it out. Ok this is a great little runner. Beautiful pixel art and lighting effects, leaderboards and achievements, no ads, just a nice game to have on your phone for when you've got a few spare minutes. Oh, and it's by two guys, not one. Can't see any reason not to at least try it out. araczynski Well-Known Member Oct 5, 2009 1,467 0 36 programmer omaha, ne #7 araczynski, Mar 5, 2015 love the music, what group? or is it just for this game? winterstation Member Mar 21, 2013 17 0 0 Musician Brooklyn, NY http://kurtfeldman.bandcamp.com/ #8 winterstation, Mar 5, 2015 It's a cool game but the slow-motion deaths are ruining it for me... Who would think old pixelly GFX mixed with modern lighting and transparency effects would look so... right.... together? Kinda fun gameplay but since you can't really get much of a warning where the projectiles are coming from you basically just shoot madly and jump over any obstructions. Very nice of the Dev not to load it with ads, etc. it's a "love letter" indeed. Big thank you from this gamer anyways! Wish there would be a native iPad version but can't have everything I suppose. Thank you Devs for this amazing love letter. While i see my achievements, it's not registering my highscore (1125m so far). Re-installing didn't help and starting the app shows me immediately my GC log-in. sapphire_neo Well-Known Member Jan 20, 2011 3,934 0 0 #12 sapphire_neo, Mar 5, 2015 This is what happens when you add Michael Bay's explosions and Zack Snyder's slow motion addiction to an auto runner. Completely and utterly over the top, but still pretty fun. The random slow mo and speed ups are kinda jarring and make dodging the missiles a little tough but it's an okay price to pay for the kind of madness you get in return. vectorarchitekt Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2013 2,489 177 63 #13 vectorarchitekt, Mar 5, 2015 Love this. I keep wishing you could double jump. Also, I hope they add more background variation. And did I just not get very far yet or are there not really any robots? I am thinking I still need to get further along. darrinhenein Member Feb 23, 2015 23 0 0 Design Lead, Firefox Mobile Toronto http://www.darrinhenein.com #14 darrinhenein, Mar 5, 2015 Wow, thank you so much everyone! A few people have asked this, so we may include an IAP in the future that is purely optional (a new spacesuit, etc) that offers a way to support us. Any gameplay updates and new features will remain free forever bobaferret Member May 12, 2012 22 0 1 Washington #19 bobaferret, Mar 5, 2015 Thank you!
