It's an attention grabber. Check it out. PeteOzzy Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2013 4,596 3 0 Norwich, England #5 PeteOzzy, Feb 23, 2015 There's a bit of a Blek feel to this, very much enjoying it. Might wait to see how good this Wednesday before I tip the dev, will allow me to increase the donation if there aren't many releases I'm interested in. Worth a download without a doubt, just like pretty much every game he makes! amusing Grace Well-Known Member Dec 23, 2008 1,685 8 38 Music, Muse, Magick Berlin, Germany #6 amusing Grace, Feb 23, 2015 It already made me smile a countless times, because of it's minimal, but strikingly beautiful gameplay and design kopicha Well-Known Member Feb 21, 2015 716 25 28 IT #7 kopicha, Feb 23, 2015 yeah i saw the game play. simple but nice. great things does not reed to be complicated some times Miaaaou Well-Known Member Oct 3, 2014 72 0 0 #8 Miaaaou, Feb 24, 2015 Reminds me of the "old" Smarter Than You game... The game's fantastic, but I wish there wasn't a $0 tier. I went along with it to see what would happen and unless I'm completely mistaken (I reached about level 37), you can't "undo" your decision and pay for the game anymore...unless of course you delete and reinstall. Now, I personally would delete the game and start over just to pay for it, but I'm gonna predict the masses are gonna be like "Oh hey, I'm already on level X and **** it...there are no ads anyway. Meh...why pay?". That's not right and I really hope this doesn't end up backfiring on the developer. IMO, there should be a way to access the payment menu at any time. coolpepper43 ð® Spam Police ð Aug 31, 2012 4,615 7 38 On the toilet #10 coolpepper43, Feb 24, 2015 I like the pay model but your completely right about to that it was a huge mistake of not having the donation available at any time. I think it's a really great game so far and I might even donate. Easy to pick up, interesting puzzles. Someone compared it to Blek but I found this one is more intuitive since it's physics-based. Got my colleagues to play and everyone loved it. They were delighted with the sound; it really elevates the game. Even the level number cymbals is a nice touch. Maybe put a "Best with Headphones" tag at the load screen or something so people don't miss out on this when they start the game in a bus or train or meeting room where their phone is on silent. kamibox Well-Known Member Jul 19, 2013 73 1 8 #13 kamibox, Feb 24, 2015 Thanks everyone! The initial idea was to confront the player only once with this decision. I will wait for a few more opinions and maybe update the game with more levels and this option. rbates Well-Known Member Sep 4, 2012 194 0 0 #14 rbates, Feb 24, 2015 I agree with the others it would be nice to have the option to pay more money later. It doesn't need to be very intrusive, just some way to get back to that screen. Great job on the game by the way! I paid a couple bucks. Since the payment model is so unique you might be able to use that to help publicize the game. Have you written Touch Arcade about it? Would be cool if they featured it. touchy85 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2015 1,616 1 38 #15 touchy85, Feb 24, 2015 This game should be played be as many people as possible ROGER-NL Well-Known Member May 21, 2012 4,030 340 83 Male Gamer. Rawk GWJ Well-Known Member Feb 9, 2014 335 0 16 #17 Rawk GWJ, Feb 24, 2015 You should definitely have an option for people to donate at anytime. If you plan to ask people for a donation only once, you should do it after they get to play a few levels. Otherwise most people will assume that your game is lousy and that you want to get their money before they have a chance to try it out. You're game is quite good. Don't sell yourself short. ### cadaei Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Apr 22, 2013 102 0 0 Seattle http://www.classicalcontraption.com #18 cadaei, Feb 24, 2015 When I got to the pay question, my first thought was "what am I paying for?" Unless I missed something obvious, which if I did I think it wasn't obvious enough, I have no idea how much more of the game there is. How many levels am i potentially paying for? Like others have said, the game is great, graphics/sound all make for a nice experience. But I don't know how much of that experience there is. I stopped playing at that point because of reading this thread. If I had just stumbled across the game I would have picked $0, simple because I wouldn't know what I was paying for. cloudpuff Well-Known Member Sep 12, 2013 3,600 0 36 lazy layabout uk #19 cloudpuff, Feb 24, 2015 I've not played too much so far but what I have I love and will def be paying. I have all of this devs titles installed on my device, cryo, sometimes you die and what the frog will never leave it either. Guise Well-Known Member Jul 10, 2009 2,027 14 38 #20 Guise, Feb 24, 2015 This game is excellent. Sort of like a mix of Hundreds, PUK, Desert Golfing, and geometry. Highly recommended. I'll be paying 3 or 4 dollars when I reach that level. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
