It's been a while since I played the original so I can't say for sure that they're new additions but the leveling, upgrading and bosses add a lot of depth to the formula. It looks great and now I've got to grips with the control scheme, I'm getting better at it too. The shop seems like it could be pricy and the best items predictably require real currency but there's a sort of "unlock all" option with a money doubler - arguably rather expensive but that's relative really. All in all, a decent download and definitely worth temporarily becoming a kiwi. I'm looking forward to plenty more play sessions, if not just to see the next creature designs as the style really resonates with me. I liked the first one a lot, then came the adorable Bleeding Edge but the great Dojo Slash has set the standard high in this genre, imho. Hope this tops it. And honestly, i'm so glad this is a soft launch for once, too many top games out this week. Nice to have you back Pete! I thought the first was great and I think it came out around the time Only One did too which was a great week. In the game, you simply tap a spot to quickly dash there while slashing through everything in the way. Enemies start off dying in 1 hit but tougher enemies start to appear gaining more health and gain deadlier attacks. It's like combining Only One with Fruit Ninja, complete with multi kill combos and boss fights. I liked the original and this looks to have great additions but it never caught with the masses. It's pretty polished and deserves a look once it's out globally. You could enjoy it now if you have a New Zealand account. The original is currently going for a buck but I recall getting that for free. Dark Slash 2 is free and has typical IAPs and a currency doubler. You have good ears! Never played Diablo 1 or 2. I have Diablo 3 for the 360 still sitting on my shelf wrapped. Haven't had time to fire it up yet. I just tought it was cool that you could tell just by hearing the sound effects. Props to you.....and your ears. D2 consumed my life during high school, I probably put a few thousand hours into that game so whenever I see/hear it, it's unmistakable, haha. I hate to be "that" guy it looks like a great game.. Most people I see on the boards don't care about idea stealers, copyright violators, pirating software or generally injust people because they are also in one or another of those groups of people. It feels bad, being "that" guy, because most others are the "other" guys. Developer should explain, if he got the sounds from somewhere legally, but I don't think so. forsakenxe Well-Known Member Oct 23, 2014 709 0 16 #18 forsakenxe, Mar 26, 2015 Can anvbody confirm, if all characters are available for ingame currency? NOEN Well-Known Member Jul 31, 2012 3,245 0 0 U.S. #19 NOEN, Mar 26, 2015 It doesn't look like it. Unless they eventually open up somehow, but you get Kevo to start with, then Ryu is for 2000 "souls" and then there is Sakura for $1.99, Paladin for $2.99, and Mystery for $4.99......or you can get the "Glorious Heroes Pack" for $9.99. So, it's looking like just the one character you can get from just playing the game. It's still a great game. I just with the IAP wasn't so high. Hope this helps! forsakenxe Well-Known Member Oct 23, 2014 709 0 16 #20 forsakenxe, Mar 26, 2015 Thanks. Yeah I thought maybe after purchasing the first new hero you can get the next one for ingame money as well. 10 for heroes +4 for double coins is way to much. Would pay 3 for doubler if I could then farm the heroes... I love the game but 14 is too much (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
