Start anywhere with anyone, and either take shots in the ring as a wrestler or call the shots backstage as a booker - promoting entertaining matches every week for ratings. Seeing each side of the curtain gives you an even better appreciation for the other, and ensures you'll never grow bored of wrestling again! Your purchase also includes a "Backstage Pass" that allows you to save your changes to all 9 rosters before pitting them against each other in dream matches of your own creation! With 4 pages of rules to mix & match - including up to 20 wrestlers in rings of any shape or size - the only limit is your imagination. You can also blow off steam with no pressure by revisiting the 8 weeks of shows from the game's promotional tour. Not to mention the interactive training process that teaches you how to lock up in the first place. BASIC CONTROLS The game features an interactive tutorial that you are advised to play through, but the basic controls are as follows: CURSORS = Movement (double-tap to dash) A = Attack (with a direction to aim high, without to aim low) G = Grapple R = Run P = Pick-Up / Drop (with a direction to throw) T = Taunt / Pin / Referee duties EYE = Change focus / Turn opponent around HEALTH METER = Switch character CLOCK = Pause / Change camera angle PERFORMANCE Although every effort has been made to keep performance as high as possible, some devices may benefit from a visit to the Options menu to fine tune the display: - The number of characters is perhaps the biggest factor so consider turning off referees and setting a limit on the match size. - If you don't want to sacrifice numbers, you can sacrifice polygons instead and opt for "Basic" character models (no fingers). - The ropes are surprisingly demanding and you may squeeze in an extra character if you make them "Static". - Turning off shadows and reducing crowd sprites may also help. There are some things I question but the game is pretty fun. You make your own character and choose all of your own moves. Even your walking style and intro music and animation. Also Mat Dickie is quite a controversial fellow in the gaming world due to what some people would call "lack of humility" and his hype jobs on his projects makes him a less than sympathetic figure in some people's eyes which could contribute to the silence. Personally Iv'e always liked the guy and find him to be a stand up type of person who is not afraid to offer his reply and in my opinion he makes great wrestling games that offer much more replay value than the high tech WWE fare and from the few times I've emailed him he was always really friendly to me. I can certainly say that Wrestling Revolution 3D is not a scam and it's easily the best work of his career and the best wrestling game on the Idevices by far. If you have played any of the older AKI games such as WCW World Tour, WCW/NWO Revenge, WWF No Mercy you will certainly feel at home with WR3D. I think the presentation is on par with the earlier AKI releases and the gameplay is fantastic if your into the older style of wrestling game. The only downside is the game requires the newer Apple hardware to run well. I already had the free version and used the IAP to unlock the full game, I would say it's amazing but i do love mdickies games and have all the ones he's released for iOS. Slightly prefer the 2d version but I still enjoy this 3d version too and if his precious games are anything to go by this will ony get better and better with every update. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #6 metalcasket, Jan 2, 2015 Yep, I've been playing the Pro version for a few days now but didn't really care to post a thread since there was one for the free version and let's not kid ourselves...no one seems to give a crap about these games. Mind you, when I say that, I mean it a bloody shame, because yes...this is easily, easily the best wrestling game on iOS and is also MDickie's best work. As always, the options are endless, there's always something to do and for the first time, both Wrestling and Booking parts of the game are all in one package (hence the higher price). Such an easy recommendation. coolpepper43 ð® Spam Police ð Aug 31, 2012 4,615 7 38 On the toilet #7 coolpepper43, Jan 2, 2015 Wow, this is very good. I just tried the free version. This would have been perfect if it could be officially licensed but still all of the premium goodness. Sexy Pirate Well-Known Member Sep 29, 2014 889 0 0 Call centre / Parent Newcastle England #8 Sexy Pirate, Jan 2, 2015 It doesn't really need to be officially licenced as you can edit the full roster yourself anyway customising all the characters, names entrance music etc. And have none of the restraints of being a licensed wwe product. I'm still switching between both 2D&3D versions but they are both the best wrestling games around in terms of variety of moves and how everything flows in the matches with reversals and things. Love them both. Luckithroe Well-Known Member Feb 27, 2010 123 0 0 #9 Luckithroe, Jan 2, 2015 Couldn't agree more. Granted I still prefer the 2d version due to the dynamic career and the insane amount of content which just has not made it into this version yet. But in a year or two once he's done his thing with this it will undoubtedly trump his previous work. For what it's worth I think the career in the 2d version tops most 'current' wrestling games on any platform. Now just need to convince him to do an MMA style game. coolpepper43 ð® Spam Police ð Aug 31, 2012 4,615 7 38 On the toilet #10 coolpepper43, Jan 2, 2015 Really?!!! so I can make all of the classic legends? So many options,a basically limitless career mode and constant updates. This with a fully customisable roster and virtually endless match options makes this the best ios wrestling game in my opinion. Sexy Pirate Well-Known Member Sep 29, 2014 889 0 0 Call centre / Parent Newcastle England #13 Sexy Pirate, Jan 2, 2015 Nearly every wrestler you can think of is already in the game just with a slightly different name due to copyrights. Hulk hogan is hank slogan and things like that. But yes you can alter the entire game to suit yourself. In the 2d version I spent ages changing all the names to the correct ones and putting people's correct entrance music in and things like that, I even went as far as to change one of the cards and made my own divas devision and changed federation to be all super heros and 80's cartoon stars. The customisation is pretty endless you can alter every single characters looks, names, music, moves everything. I have already changed all the names of the wrestlers to their original. I am playing the 2D version. Sexy Pirate Well-Known Member Sep 29, 2014 889 0 0 Call centre / Parent Newcastle England #15 Sexy Pirate, Jan 2, 2015 Just use google to find there music it's not hard to find. You need to use your computer to put all the music on your iPhone/iPad and then in the editor choose the character then gimmicks and at the bottom is MP3 when you press it it brings up all the music on your device. Pick your song and save and exit. IAP-king Member Jul 15, 2013 17 0 0 #16 IAP-king, Jan 3, 2015 M Dickie you beautiful bastard. You've done it again.
