It supports the new 6 and 6+ screens and looks amazing. This and Carcassonne are real must haves on every iDevice! What kind of game is it? luckystrikeguy Well-Known Member Sep 18, 2013 615 7 18 #6 luckystrikeguy, Dec 21, 2014 I might just be stupid but can someone explain the dice rolls to me ? All I see is numbers 5 through 9 but the dice rolls are 1 through 6. So if it's a 2 and 4 from the right that means 2 across and 4 down ? This was well worth the wait btw and for 3 bucks this might be the best deal ever since the real version can run you like 50 to 70 bucks. This is def my favorite realease this year and with these awesome responsive devs I'm sure it will only get better. imdakine1 Well-Known Member Aug 23, 2011 1,228 22 38 #7 imdakine1, Dec 21, 2014 What does problems with MP mean? The developers included a massive, branching single player campaign. They did their best to turn this multiplayer board game into a true single player video game. My only hesitation in buying the Pocket version would be the question of screen size. The extra space an iPad screen provides seems essential with this game. Any idea how this plays on an iPhone 6 vs iPad? Trying to decide if it playable on the iPhone 6 or not? What I mean by playable is does it play well in the iPhone 6 or are things to difficult to read and the controls do or don't work well etc... Pedroapan Well-Known Member Aug 25, 2010 313 0 16 #17 Pedroapan, Dec 22, 2014 On iPhone 5 it's somehow cramped to play. The fonts are small and your finger obstruct the tiles when building, nothing that can't be solved in a future patch however. iPhone version is preferable if you want to play on the move but I think the iPad version gives you the better experience. The game itself and the implementation is great, well worth buying and playing, whichever version you choose. Also very nice campaign. The multiplayer seemed bugged last night. Wasn't able to finish a singel building phase without being kicked out but hopefully that is solved now. Good luck! Pedroapan Pedroapan Well-Known Member Aug 25, 2010 313 0 16 #18 Pedroapan, Dec 22, 2014 A great implementaion of a great board game. Basically it consists of two phases, buildning and adventuring. When buildning you construct your ship by tiles, kind of like Carcassonne, but in real time. Add lasers, engines, shields and all kinds of stuff. In the adventures you flip a certain number of cards, one by one, and basically watch your piece of crap-ship get destroyed. Hopefully your opponents built even crappier ships and get even more destroyed. Rinse and repeat three times (or however many times you decide). The IOS implementation is very good and also features a nice campaign. Well worth your time and 3 bucks if you like board games.
