It's gorgeous in 3D and Om Nom's truly "brought to life". Gotta mention that this is a game aimed at kids between the ages 6 and 8. While that really shouldn't matter if you're into virtual pets, I bring it up because I have nothing but the utmost respect toward Zeptolab for including NOTHING that could ruin this for kids (i.e. IAPs, ads, bullshit). I'll definitely pick this up in a while...stupid MC5 is taking FOREVER. ROGER-NL Well-Known Member May 21, 2012 4,030 340 83 Male Gamer. And talking air penguin. I love these kind of pet games. But there are only 2 mini games? redranch91 Well-Known Member Mar 3, 2014 202 0 0 #10 redranch91, Dec 17, 2014 My sentiments exactly. I was really looking forward to this game but then this weird 3D art style has lost its appeal for me. I guess they were trying to join the herd and were taking a cue from the likes of Clumsy Ninja and all. I would've preferred if they had gone with the art style like in Hatch. It would've been much better suited. Oh well,I'll probably just download to see if there's anything in it to compensate for the 3D art. I dug Hatch for a few months then I kind of got bored with it. There wasn't much to do. There looks like there's a lot more interaction with your "pet" in this one. Would have added AR interaction to this...They do that and I'll part with a fiver. redribbon Well-Known Member Jun 11, 2010 2,799 53 48 entepreanur, programmer #14 redribbon, Dec 18, 2014 The Gameplay: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel nicoper Member Nov 15, 2013 18 0 0 #15 nicoper, Dec 18, 2014 In my opinion it costs a bit too much for being a pet simulator game, but Om Nom is still one of the cutest candy-eating creatures ever! sapphire_neo Well-Known Member Jan 20, 2011 3,934 0 0 #16 sapphire_neo, Dec 18, 2014 There are so many shitty freemium and paymium games in this genre, I'm perfectly happy to shell out good money for a nice premium one. coolpepper43 ð® Spam Police ð Aug 31, 2012 4,615 7 38 On the toilet #17 coolpepper43, Dec 18, 2014 #Bravo zeptolab for making a premium game when you could have easily made it free to play. # makedamage Active Member Apr 15, 2014 32 0 6 #18 makedamage, Dec 18, 2014 With the beautiful cartoon style that they always made so well, why on earth would you go 3D? Mess Well-Known Member Jul 17, 2013 1,353 0 0 #20 Mess, Dec 18, 2014 Genuinely wouldn't have though 2d would be more expensive than 3D. But you live and learn...
