I've been waiting for this one!!! And your soundtrack has both Imagine Dragons AND Bastille?!?! It's like you're in my brain!!! Can't wait to be playing this sweet goodness! Mikiesque Well-Known Member Dec 7, 2013 203 0 16 #4 Mikiesque, Dec 12, 2014 It's brilliant!!! Better animations and better ball physics. You can unlock all modes by paying real money OR 4000 in-game currency which you accumulate by playing and/or watching ad videos. Best football game on iOS for sure!!! psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,966 718 113 England #5 psj3809, Dec 12, 2014 Looking forward to trying this one out. However I'm in my 15th season of FTS 14 (team has 250 million. No cheating ever used) so it's a shame to start all over again psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,966 718 113 England #6 psj3809, Dec 12, 2014 Changed the skill to high Won the first game 5-0 (and I took over an English championship side) Hopefully will have more challenging games ! djstout Well-Known Member Jul 21, 2011 2,685 105 63 Sportscaster & football (soccer) coach Taiwan & Japan #7 djstout, Dec 12, 2014 Excellent! I was hoping for Tiki Taka soccer and Active Soccer 2, but this one is great too, I can finally play with Gamba Osaka! Sorry what do you mean chiraagnt Member Aug 13, 2012 10 0 0 #10 chiraagnt, Dec 12, 2014 Hey guys, is this game better than FIFA 14? (Not FIFA 15, which I think is FIFA 14 without its awesome manager mode and features!) psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,966 718 113 England #11 psj3809, Dec 12, 2014 Haven't played the latest FIFA. This games great. Low filesize. Lots of competitions. Buy/sell players etc. generous with coins if you watch ads It's free so give it a go. I tried FIFA a while back and much preferred the games from these devs so I've stuck with them chiraagnt Member Aug 13, 2012 10 0 0 #12 chiraagnt, Dec 12, 2014 Ah ok thanks! Yeah was thinking of it cause the manager mode looks much more detailed... The graphics can't seem to match up to FIFA but then again the IPA file size is incredibly small for a game of this depth! psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,966 718 113 England #13 psj3809, Dec 12, 2014 Last edited: Dec 12, 2014 Yeah thats what sold me a few years back as their first game was Dream League Soccer, which basically became First Touch Soccer 13 and then of course this version. You can do a lot in it, you sign trainers to obvoiusly train your players skills up. You can sign free agents or try and buy more expensive players or sell your own. Give contracts to your players as well Has all the cups, FA Cup, Champions league, UEFA cup etc. I played FTS13 A LOT and won the league most seasons, i've taken over a championship side and in my first game, a friendly against Juventus i won 5-0. So despite being on 'hard' i think it seems to be a bit easier Getting coins after wins seems a bit more generous and you can watch lots of adverts one at a time to get more coins. What i think is different are the trainers, their skills to train seem very basic compared to the last game so i think improving your players by this method will take a lot longer. Also you can upgrade your stadium differently by upgrading different sections/stands. Before you just 'bought' an upgrade, whereas this way will be a lot slower. The first time i played FTS 13 i didnt buy any IAPs, as i was good at the game i won a lot and got a fair few coins. I had an all star team with say Ronaldo/Rooney/Messi etc but kept winning non stop So i started again and took a championship side (very weak) and didnt sign any other players, just trained my own team. Took them to the premiership and after a few seasons started winning practically everything 'most' seasons. I found it more challenging than my 'dream team' before. I'm doing the same here, i wont be signing any big name players, i'll just keep training my team up as i want a challenge. Its a great game though, plays very well and you can score some great great goals (which you can save). Much prefer this than FIFA and its overbloated filesize But its free to play, give it a go and see how you get on. You do have to buy a 'VIP' pass so you can choose any team you want but i'm quite happy doing that as the devs get something. Well worth trying Sanuku Well-Known Member Jun 14, 2009 11,954 4 38 Austria http://www.touchgameplay.com #14 Sanuku, Dec 12, 2014 Game Impressions Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel GregB Well-Known Member Sep 4, 2009 2,346 3 38 #15 GregB, Dec 12, 2014 Oops! Meant my *shots* go over the goal. Seems like any power and woosh. Suggestions? psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,966 718 113 England #16 psj3809, Dec 12, 2014 Ha ha oh i see ! If players have a low skill rating (eg their shooting is in the 60s-70s range) theres a chance they'll kick the ball over the goal. Dont use full power, when i have a player i dont keep my finger on the 'C' button to shoot as it'll go flying over, tap it a bit, have a practice, keep your finger on it a 'fraction' longer to get it a bit higher. It is worth using the practice mode just to do some shooting. On a free kick i 'tap' the power kick as otherwise it'll fly over the crossbar. I presume you've practiced with the 3 buttons, the first one means you can kick it up 'high' like a pass. The next button is a low pass along the ground, the final one is 'shoot' where you can get some real power behind a shot (its great when you score a goal from miles out !) But the power kick needs practice or like i say you'll just smash it over in the air. I still have defenders take a shot and boot it sky high as their shooting skills are low. Keep training your forwards to have better shooting which will help but like i say just practice pressing the button (but not full power or it'll go high) Gwarmaxx Well-Known Member Feb 2, 2010 4,446 376 83 NCC 1701 #17 Gwarmaxx, Dec 12, 2014 hey psj, installed filesize? psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,966 718 113 England #18 psj3809, Dec 12, 2014 310 meg Think thats gone up from the last one but still a pretty small installed size as FIFA 15 says its 1 gig (might be more installed) ironsam80 Well-Known Member Dec 14, 2010 1,151 34 48 #19 ironsam80, Dec 12, 2014 The game is awesome... A lot of options, game modes, fluid gameplay and not bad graphics for the install size. The only thing that seems to need some work (after 12 games) is the goalkeeper AI. I have tried multiple teams with bad and good goalkeepers and all seems to acting weird when the ball comes to their side and must go off the goalpost and catch it. In one occasion he came out of his goal post he went near the ball and standing there without doing anything till the offender of the other team arrived there and score. In an other my keeper had the ball the offender came pull him down and scored without give me a foul in my small area (especially when the keeper has the ball any touch is foul in football). Anyway fantastic game and of course i have already bought the VIP pack! yfung Member Feb 22, 2011 5 0 0 #20 yfung, Dec 12, 2014 Are there online play for this game?
