I'm extremely impressed with it. Still playing through that one, and will definitely pick this up after I at least complete all the levels. I'm guessing it's not crucial to play through the first one if you haven't already, but I have a feeling you're gonna want them both once you try it. rIcHrAnDoM Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Nov 17, 2008 7,936 30 38 Steelworker/Welder Indiana, USA #11 rIcHrAnDoM, Dec 3, 2014 I beta tested Bean Dreams and I can tell you this is an excellent follow up! toptrops Well-Known Member Apr 23, 2014 269 0 0 #12 toptrops, Dec 3, 2014 Game Impressions Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel strivemind Well-Known Member Aug 11, 2010 2,784 2 38 Designer Ottawa, Canada http://www.strivemind.com/ #13 strivemind, Dec 3, 2014 Soooo looking forward to this. Of course I'd visit Touch Arcade, check out the new games from other developers and read the forums. I would watch as really talented studios/teams released new games and the forums would be full of people saying "new game from Vlambeer/Simogo/NimbleBit? INSTABUY!" and I would wonder, "Will Kumobius ever get to that stage?" It might sound strange but it's one of the most heart warming things to see Regarding the question about whether you'd need to have played Bean's Quest before playing Bean Dreams... The answer is definitely no -- you can play them in any order really. In fact, I'd recommend playing Bean Dreams first because we designed it with a much better learning curve and achievement/unlock system. The biggest complaints about Bean's Quest at launch were that it was "too short" and "too hard". After a bunch of updates, it is definitely not too short any more but it is probably still too hard (and that's coming from one of the guys who made Duet...) PS: I like Anotherkellydown's suggestion that one should buy both games! killercow Well-Known Member Apr 8, 2009 3,784 3 38 https://twitter.com/killercow #16 killercow, Dec 3, 2014 Congrats! It's not tilt! We found tilt wasn't accurate enough for the kind of gameplay and level designs we wanted to explore. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
