The once idyllic village of Greenhaven is now a near lifeless husk, the souls of its inhabitants having been drained by the powerful wizard Morg, who has used them to create the abominations that now occupy the mighty keep that was once the source of protection for the village. Morg’s evil influence has caused the people of Greenhaven to forget their old lives of happiness and even the presence of Morg himself, instead falling into a mindless stupor. With the village’s crops withering untended in the fields and its people heading mindlessly toward oblivion, the one person unaffected by Morg’s influence, a young woman named Xobia, enters the keep to find the source of Morg’s power and put an end to the misery that has been unleashed on the hapless village. • A variety of fearsome creatures to defeat! • Multiple different weapons, each with unique strengths and abilities. • Release trapped souls to increase your stamina, health and weapon skills. • Find hidden gems to further enhance your chosen weapon. • Learn spells to unlock new areas as you progress deeper into the keep. • Cast a single spell, or chain it with another for devastating effect. • Unique and twisted domains that contain powerful treasures and secrets. • Defeat vicious bosses on your way to Morg's tower. • Full world dynamic shadowing. • Stunning dynamic reflections and full screen effects. • Adjustable graphic settings and HUD. • Full support for game controllers as well as touch screen controls. • Benchmark mode to test your device's hardware. • Extreme benchmark mode for the latest (OpenGL ES 3.0) devices. Let us know. Vovin ð® Spam Police ð Nov 28, 2009 6,514 3 38 Germany #9 Vovin, Nov 21, 2014 Holy ship, graohics are eye candy. Smooth like heck. Controls are really good. I honestly thought it a good call on your part to immediately question the screens, shows you're one step ahead of the pack gemineye62 Well-Known Member Feb 16, 2010 641 0 0 #12 gemineye62, Nov 23, 2014 I have not finished this game yet but, I'm about half way I think. I am having way more fun with this game than I thought I would. The combat is fun and the spells are really well done. Just remember to have the staff equipped to cast the most powerful spells though. This is a real steal at $1.99. You talk to a couple of characters and do one fetch quest and that's about it. The rest of the game consists of fighting , and opening chests to get spells, weapons or a needed item to open a door. As far as the Dark Souls comment goes, I am not sure what you mean. If you play on easy you start back where you died with no loss of items etc. On normal ,you get about six lives and then must start the game over. On the hard setting, you get one life and that's it. Works for me! LOL that's what sequels are made for. And if the developer were to release five fun, really gorgeous "short" games I still wouldn't complain. The long and more technical answer: The extreme benchmark is intended to demonstrate the capabilities of the very latest in mobile GPUs. It is an experimental deferred renderer, with effects like parallax occlusion mapping and multiple very high resolution cube shadow maps, and while a Metal based back-end certainly would be able to reduce some of the CPU-overhead caused by OpenGL, the benchmark is mostly GPU-bound on all current mobile devices. We're a fairly small developer and we currently believe the possible improvement would not be worth the required effort. We do see the value in comparing Metal to OpenGL, but it can be argued that implementing support for Metal would make benchmark results less comparable to results from other platforms. We currently consider comparisons between devices more interesting than comparisons between APIs. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
