How is this possible from such a big company such as Sega and SI games. I'm still on a 5s, but I'd like to know if they plan on updating it for newer devices eventually. Also, have they finally been able to include the MLS? I'm tired of having to rely on FIFA 14 to manage my MLS team alongside my FMH 2014 EPL club. PaulEd7 Well-Known Member May 10, 2012 99 0 6 #12 PaulEd7, Nov 20, 2014 The new match engine is the major new feature and, I have to say, it's fantastic! It accurately shows what is going on now and matches up with the commentary. heringer Well-Known Member Oct 2, 2011 807 0 0 #13 heringer, Nov 20, 2014 How is it different than previous engine? From the screenshots it looks exactly the same. curtisrshideler Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Jul 30, 2011 3,097 25 48 Male Video Producer/Editor Texas http://twitter.com/curtneedsaride #14 curtisrshideler, Nov 20, 2014 I still wish we could change the color or texture of that big white box in the stat view during matches. Used to be a light green pitch photo A couple years back. Just a big waste of screen real estate. Also, I wonder if we'll ever get to see a little weather effects or remnants on the pitches that don't have heated grounds. But I do have to say that the new 2D engine does look nice and smooth. A big improvement from last year's engine! curtisrshideler Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Jul 30, 2011 3,097 25 48 Male Video Producer/Editor Texas http://twitter.com/curtneedsaride #15 curtisrshideler, Nov 20, 2014 The video shows it to be much more fluid, and life-like. There's even a pass that gets away from a player. The ball handling seems realistic and not the same motion or speed always anymore. The players' movements seem to be better and passes, shots, and free kicks seem to move much better. You really have to watch a video or play both 2014 and 2015 to see the difference. heringer Well-Known Member Oct 2, 2011 807 0 0 #16 heringer, Nov 20, 2014 Ok, I'll watch a video. Thanks! Marc Vaughan Well-Known Member Apr 15, 2010 517 0 0 #17 Marc Vaughan, Nov 20, 2014 There are a lot of new features and the new match engine is a large evolution above last years simulation - obviously its up to each individual to decide if they want to get the new game, however I believe its very good value for money. Marc Vaughan Well-Known Member Apr 15, 2010 517 0 0 #18 Marc Vaughan, Nov 20, 2014 We are presently working on additional skins for the game (mainly a true 1080p skin) however tbh the current stretching system works really well and gives a nice crisp render on nearly all devices imho (its had to as thats is what we've been using on Android for several years already). Until we get the licences etc. sorted we can't add in the MLS I'm afraid - perhaps next year, but thats not something I have control over I'm afraid. Marc Vaughan Well-Known Member Apr 15, 2010 517 0 0 #19 Marc Vaughan, Nov 20, 2014 The new match engine in theory will be able to support a full length match - however its not enabled at present because there is a BIG possibility of someone losing battery life during the match and presently there are technical reasons preventing automatically saving in that situation. If we can over-come this then we will allow a 90 minute match in a future version of the game (but no promises in this area as its something only a minority of people are likely to use and won't be a critical thing we're working on at this time in comparison to 'bugs' reported in the release). Claud Well-Known Member Nov 20, 2014 260 0 0 New York #20 Claud, Nov 20, 2014 When might this skin for the iPhone 6 Plus be released? Is that a possibility for "soon" or unlikely? Thanks.
