And there is a small period of insensitivity to touch after having activated a block PQuark Active Member Apr 26, 2014 30 0 0 Malmö, Sweden http://www.papaquark.com #3 PQuark, Nov 6, 2014 Hey Saosijs, This is Andreas from PapaQuark. Thanks a lot for taking the time to check out our game and sending your comments! This is our first launch on the AppStore and we really appreciate it any feedback we get. The Game Center issue should be fixed now.. apparently it was an Apple thing and a lot of games had problems with GC today. We've noticed the lag issue as well when tapping - and hopefully we can sort that out in an update very soon. We're working on it. Until then I can recommend swiping between the blocks without lifting your finger. It's really useful when you want to set off several blocks quickly (and you don't have the "tap lag" issue..) some levels can even be completed in one super fast swiping motion. It's pretty cool Thanks again & have a great day, Andreas saosijs Well-Known Member Mar 24, 2012 1,483 2 38 Brazil #4 saosijs, Nov 7, 2014 Thanks Andreas, swiping works great indeed. On some levels it still would be nice to have the tap option, but let's see if you find anything for that. So far I could improve every level with swiping though Game Center has been a mess the last days yes. Many new games suffer from this. I now can see GC but only in-game for some reason. But I guess that is a matter of some time before Apple has everything stabilized or synchronized. I'm getting to level 20 now and can't imagine how hectic and mind and eye dazzling it will get later on! Looking forward to that sterlingware Well-Known Member Aug 26, 2014 84 0 0 Developer Canada http://www.sterlinggamesinc.com #5 sterlingware, Nov 7, 2014 Excellent game. I played nearly 15 levels and couldn't put it down. The simplicity of the mechanics makes this game good. The explanations at the top of the screen and the quick restart "tap to retry" makes this game great. No bugs, no issues in-game, smooth flow, no pressure to buy premium. Great job. Based on your game design, it looks like there is enough space at the bottom of the screen to put in an ad. Revenue for you? (without disturbing the flow really). Great job. We wanted for it to be a clean and uncluttered experience so we probably won't put adds in there anytime soon... sure revenue would be nice some day, but right now we just want people to play the game and have a good time. Good luck cracking those levels and please let us know if you run into any problems. There is a 5 minute total time achievement, which means 3 seconds per level average. Seems doable, all my levels so far are under 2 seconds. Let's see how much lower than 5 minutes I can get. 59 levels to go Love the game! Simple but challenging game mechanic. It gives me that "one more level" urge. Difficult to put down. My device is iPad mini, not iPhone, so perhaps make it optional to switch "on" in the options menu? Another thing, I have achievement "Patient One" (crash 1000x), but not "Crash Course" (crash 100x). Probably it got lost when Apple was having issues with GC. Could you add a "synch GC" possibility in the options menu? Will be to good to have anyway for players who travel (airplane mode) or suffer otherwise with connectivity problems. Thanks! In what time zone do we consider "tomorrow 23:59:59"? I have been wondering what the best possible level completion times are, and there is no single answer. It depends on the level what in fact determines the fastest possible time. I could see some influencing factors: tight squeeze (near hit): blocks have to just miss each other for the best time swipe speed: the faster the swipe, the better the time spinner rotation: swiping too fast over a spinner, makes it rotate only, but not move tight squeeze It depends on the lay-out of the puzzle what is the best possible. Examples are level 1, 2, and 6 (0.42s), and level 3 and 4 (0.20s) swipe speed Swiping leaves a ghost trace, but when I swipe too fast, it shows that this ghost trace doesn't reach until the other block so I deliberately need to swipe slower making my time not as good as could be. Examples are level 5 (2 blocks, 0.07s), and 8 (3 blocks, 0.08). This is a limitation of the device or the game implementation. Level 9 (4 blocks, 0.22s) is interesting, because it is limited by my own speed to swipe almost a full circle. So for level 5 and 8 I'd say I'm faster than the game and for level 9 I'm not as fast as the game allows me spinner rotation It seems to me that making a spinner rotate and making it move are separate actions. As long as you go swiping over it slow enough, there is time to trigger both. Example is level 9, although I got 0.07s there, which is also the swipe speed limit. But it does show the effect when you swipe very fast Probably there is more ;-) PQuark Active Member Apr 26, 2014 30 0 0 Malmö, Sweden http://www.papaquark.com #17 PQuark, Nov 12, 2014 Whoa, that's some analysis! So I guess you can calculate the optimal total time based on that if you count how many levels there are in each category? Cool! About the competition. End time is 21.00 (9pm) in Stockholm/Sweden, that is 9pm GMT+1 on Thursday 13th. What time zone are you in? saosijs Well-Known Member Mar 24, 2012 1,483 2 38 Brazil #18 saosijs, Nov 12, 2014 Well, it is not so easy analyzing the more complex levels. Even to find a theoretical optimal solution considering the listed limitations is already very difficult, let alone executing it We can be more practical and make a Hi-Score list on Google Drive. I can do that over the weekend! 9pm for you, is 18:00 in my time zone, so now I know what I'll be doing tomorrow during lunch time hahaha saosijs Well-Known Member Mar 24, 2012 1,483 2 38 Brazil #19 saosijs, Nov 13, 2014 That's worth a hat, isn't it?
