I like the Fruit Ninja-esque mini game. Some people are going to be pissed that the game requires an internet connection to play. Personally, it does not bother me, but what does bother me is the lack of GC integration-even if there are 0 achievements. I am in my late 30s and proud to be a gamer, but do I really need 600+ FB friends to know that I am playing? Others have echoed this sentiment. Perhaps I should set up a Facebook account for gaming only and eventually add people and vice versa. I will download this and give it a spin tonight. rIcHrAnDoM Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Nov 17, 2008 7,936 30 38 Steelworker/Welder Indiana, USA #6 rIcHrAnDoM, Oct 29, 2014 I'm sure many will find this fun, I did not: it is, at it's core, a fight "manager" sim. A very simple one at that. You don't actually control your fighter, you train him/her, then watch them fight based on what items and skills you have. Just not for me, I guess. Very pay to win, also. At first, when I played, there were no other people online to match up with, after I trained my fighter. The graphics/production values in Smash Champs are top-notch. I used to love the game MyBrute and this is a much fancier reimagining of that DennisJensen Member Mar 24, 2014 19 0 0 Co-Owner of a Indie Studio Viborg, Denmark http://2ndStudio.dk #12 DennisJensen, Oct 30, 2014 Gratz on getting the game out there. You don't actually get to control the fighter, but are forced to watch the 'fights' - The voice acting is cringey - the animations are nothing amazing - would have been a good game if you could control the fighting. That's the aspect of the game that caught most people's eye when they saw early trailers. Then we find you do nothing during those segments - disappointing to say the least. None of the characters are likable either. I chose the gorilla, and after 3 fights I wanted to mute him badly. This is one case where I'm glad it was free with iAP - saved me some money, as I probably would have bought it blind up front, thinking it was a fighting game.
