Why? nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #7 nightc1, Oct 22, 2014 Not sure what this is. Missed the first one and the screenshots don't look like something I'd just blindly buy. Really one of the worst appstore listings with pics that I've seen. I see it says match-3 gameplay... but then stuff about a story and a map and stuff. I guess I'll go grab the original and test it out and judge from that. But seriously, how could these be the best screenshots to show off the gameplay in this game? BTW, Super Glyph Quest is already in the US Appstore. No need to wait till tonight. I thought that was a perfect way to get people into the game... Maybe people didn't actually buy it after that, idk... Anyway. I will definitely grab this one. Loved the first. It's a match-3 with a little story and some truly addicting spell casting mechanics. You're always battling something, comparable to Puzzle Quest. Don't hestitate. Buy. We'd put the first couple in and submitted in order to make the deadline. We were going to update with new ones once we'd launched, but it turns out you can't do that unless you upload a new binary. They're coming with the first update, as well as a new trailer. In the meantime, here's our Facebook page with a few more in game things - as well as a whole bunch of other stuff. Thing is, people didn't 'get' it - we kinda fell between two camps. There were those that said 'Hey, I thought this was free but you're asking me for money' and those that said 'IAPs? No thanks!' so we got a bit screwed either way. That, coupled with the fact that the language to describe that model doesn't exist in Apple's lexicon (you're either Free or Paid) and us botching the communication in game, it's a wonder we sold any units at all. The game so far is living up to very high expectations. Seriously, anyone who's tired of freemium mechanics in matching puzzlers (or who likes to support independent developers) should buy this game, now, and experience the excellence. For those unfamiliar, check the developer's page from a few posts ago and/or read the description and/or watch the trailer. Then read Billy Ocean's post above and go and do likewise. This is unfortunately a case of an app I can't currently buy. The first one I wouldn't have bought because I don't buy through IAP... this version is limited to iOS7 and above. So unless it's recompiled to include support for iOS6 then I'm out until I get my next iOS device. ... To the dev: Any chance of getting iOS6 support? Many devs have now gone back and recompiled to support iOS6 (some even older versions of iOS). Since the iPod4's can't go above iOS6 then this can re-include them as well unless the game is too high action or whatever to run on those devices. I'm just sticking with iOS 6.1.3 on my 4S so it's not so crippled for older games that will never be updated. Many of which have been removed from the appstore because they aren't forward compatible.
