Any impressions? Revolvix Well-Known Member Jan 14, 2014 49 0 0 #5 Revolvix, Oct 2, 2014 Ok I downloaded it and played it, I say played it but it isn't really a game. What it is is an intriguing piece of interactive visual novel that opens and progresses with you pinching the screen. It uses film to tell a story (I won't go into it here) that to be honest is a complete mystery to me, but this I believe is only part 1 so things will become clearer in time. I would say if you like interactive novels you will enjoy this. It's quite artsy in its presentaion and I would imagine you would have to be patient if you wanted to know the full story. It's maybe a little unfair to put this in the games section because I can guarantee some will hate on it. I enjoyed it, very short though for £2.00 unless I'm missing something that requires a second run through. Revolvix Well-Known Member Jan 14, 2014 49 0 0 #7 Revolvix, Oct 3, 2014 Unless I'm missing something it was literally about 30 minutes long. willemijnms New Member Sep 4, 2012 3 0 0 #8 willemijnms, Oct 19, 2014 Pry is not a game, but a very fascinating piece of interactive art. The only comment I had was that the flashing text and flashing pictures/movies were very disturbing for an epileptic like myself. I got a very immediate answer, and they put an epileptic warning in the App store. And for chapter 2 some new coding to make it less flashy for people like me. I don't have epilepsy but the rapidly flashing words and pics were bothersome to me, too. I haven't checked myself, but while the App Store warning is serviceable, it isn't sufficient. If it isn't in place (I'd check but I since finished the available chapters and deleted it for free up some space), a similar warning should be in-game as well. Sometimes people like myself tend to breeze by the App description and move onto the "Buy" button in the excitement of purchasing a new item. Seeing the name 'Charlie Kaufman' in the description sold it to me. Worth a download if you like left-field storytelling (or Her Story). (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
