I suspect yet again gameplay will be sacrificed for timers and iap? Colour me disappointed PeteOzzy Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2013 4,596 3 0 Norwich, England #10 PeteOzzy, Jul 2, 2014 No timers whatsoever just a coin doubler which is better viewed as a pay to unlock the premium version. For what it's worth, I'm really enjoying it. It's an underwater I Dig It with the greater movement freedom it implies. Visually it excels and the soundtrack is great too. It's a shame it's been pulled but I'm sure there are reasons behind it, I can only recommend people jump on it when it reappears as it's stuffed with personality and collectibles with no restrictions on the enjoyment as far as I can see. And does the doubler also get rid of any ads (if there are ads)? dreadnok Well-Known Member Jun 8, 2011 4,157 7 38 I came here to kick ass and chew bubble gum I'm ou #14 dreadnok, Jul 2, 2014 Quick question for those who have foreign accounts on iTunes, how do you transfer game data from say your Canadian app to your US one? sink_or_swim Well-Known Member Feb 4, 2012 3,504 5 38 Germany #15 sink_or_swim, Jul 2, 2014 The coin doubler should be ~$4.39 ($4.99 in NZ) and I haven't seen any ads PeteOzzy Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2013 4,596 3 0 Norwich, England #16 PeteOzzy, Jul 2, 2014 No ads at all and the game can run without an internet connection. Coin doubler is $4.99 in NZ, which I'm pretty sure works out as $3.99 USD, though I'm only about 90% sure of that. You can also buy the coins in the usual consumable IAP quantities which are actually pretty generous - 99 cents gets you 100,000 coins and I'm averaging 500-700 coins a dive. It's a fair grind without the doubler, that's for sure, but then why wouldn't it be? I'm having a lot of fun with a game I haven't paid a penny for yet. But I'll definitely get the doubler when it's out in the UK for support as well as alleviating the grinding. I've so far found Planet of the Apes, Borderlands, SpongeBob Squarepants, Indiana Jones, Ben There Dan That, Bit Trip, Little Acorns and Thomas Was Alone Easter Eggs. It's a real love letter! I love how the IAPs are implemented (I was worried at first when I saw the price), and I'm more than willing to support any developer who doesn't resort to timers and pay-to-win. PhoenixWing Active Member Jan 29, 2014 27 0 1 #20 PhoenixWing, Jul 2, 2014 Sounds nice! Definitely will download this as soon as it is available The coin doubler sounds a little expensive though.
