So it is the input system from Cool Cool Toon. I did wonder. To be honest I'd rather have a port of that - pretty sure even my iTouch could handle it, and the music was a damn sight better. But this still looks like it might be worth a buck, and seems less will-this-do than Metal Slug Defense (which I liked, but it was far too easy and felt a bit pointless).
Can you unlock everything from just playing or are some things unlockables with cash? From the video..it looks like some characters and songs purchased with cash in the shop.

I'd like to enjoy this game (reminds me of Ouendan/EBA) but the lag becomes so bad on my iPhone 5 in just the second level that it's essentially unplayable. Hope they fix it but seems doubtful. =\
