I love the music and how the sound effect when you combine several dots is in tune Anotherkellydown Moderator Staff Member Patreon Bronze Feb 10, 2014 4,577 1,132 113 Male CAD Technician I Upstate NY https://youtube.com/channel/UCcvu9xhE7xT-mZrXUZQJr5g #7 Anotherkellydown, Jun 3, 2014 Great game! Loved Dots, they've really taken the Dots formula and made it into something really special. If you haven't tried the first one I would suggest picking it up to get used to how it works. They're both great little puzzle games. The only thing with Two Dots that some players might not like are the limited lives/timer type thing. But don't let that stop you. For me, I only play in short sessions, and by the time I get back to it I've got all my lives back. cloudpuff Well-Known Member Sep 12, 2013 3,600 0 36 lazy layabout uk #8 cloudpuff, Jun 3, 2014 It's a nice little puzzler, and I like the level based gameplay, I don't like the limited lives though, so far I've not been stuck on a level for too long and I'm hoping I don't hit one where I'm stuck for days, I'd happily pay for unlimited lives as I really do enjoy the game but I'm not planning on refilling lives or buying power ups. Not sure how long I'll stick at this but no noubt my husband will take over on Facebook when I'm stuck. It's interesting that they made this level based with bosses like you mentioned. Have you gotten to the squid boss, cloudpuff? I'm a few levels away from him/her. cloudpuff Well-Known Member Sep 12, 2013 3,600 0 36 lazy layabout uk #10 cloudpuff, Jun 4, 2014 I'm at level 47 in the snowy bits. Been stuck here for since last night now. I always need just one more move to beat it lol. I read on the uk App Store reviews that if you know you are not going to be successful then force quit the app, when you load it back up you have your life still. I've tried it and it works but it's a bit if a gaff keeping an eye in your number of moves left. Trying over and over, until the random dropped dots are in your favor. Just to get to the next level, and then repeat the process over and over? This could have been so much more.. cloudpuff Well-Known Member Sep 12, 2013 3,600 0 36 lazy layabout uk #16 cloudpuff, Jun 8, 2014 Agree, it's more annoying quitting over and over than it is just running out of lives. Wow. Just don't then and wait for the lives to refill. The original game was a free to play so of course this one will do the same. Whining is only going to cause the game to get patched so you don't have the choice to cheat. cloudpuff Well-Known Member Sep 12, 2013 3,600 0 36 lazy layabout uk #18 cloudpuff, Jun 8, 2014 I didn't mean to come across as whining, sorry guys, I posted in a bit of a rush but what I was trying to say is that using the restart thing is a faff and takes what fun there is in the game away, it's better just to let your lives run out and return whenever. I was totally expecting it to be free to play, I've got no problems with free to play, I did hope it would use a similar model to the original dots but the devs chose what's right for them. karinagameplayer Member Jun 7, 2014 14 0 0 #19 karinagameplayer, Jun 12, 2014 its very addictive, now has a system similar to Candy Crush to advance you need getting lives each every x time cloudpuff Well-Known Member Sep 12, 2013 3,600 0 36 lazy layabout uk #20 cloudpuff, Jun 12, 2014 I've gotten to the last level, waiting for the update, haven't hit a level where I've not been able to pass in the same day.
