Looks like you have to figure out where to walk and what stuff to grab? I hope it's a fairly decent length. With that good of art I wouldn't be surprised if it was a short game. killercow Well-Known Member Apr 8, 2009 3,784 3 38 https://twitter.com/killercow #6 killercow, Feb 18, 2014 FYI this is by the creator of Hiversaires which I liked despite its flaws: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=185959 slewis7 Well-Known Member Apr 6, 2011 3,768 41 48 Male Retired! InkyTheGhost Well-Known Member Jul 12, 2012 338 0 0 NYC #8 InkyTheGhost, Feb 19, 2014 Just got through the first level, or whatever it is. If you're at all attracted by what you see, then get this. It's already won me over. Gorgeous art, atmoshperic music, and pleasantly weird and mysterious. I have no idea what's going on, but you are apparently trying to go somewhere. If you require any handholding at all, then this may not be for you. But if you like being immersed in a strange world where you don't know the rules, and you don't mind feeling sort of lost, then definitely check this out. Also, it's easier to swipe below the images to move around. Can't wait to play this some more with headphones later tonight. It's pretty relaxing. InkyTheGhost Well-Known Member Jul 12, 2012 338 0 0 NYC #11 InkyTheGhost, Feb 19, 2014 Last edited: Feb 19, 2014 Really hard to explain. You walk through rooms looking for things in order to move on. Sort of like an Escher maze, but on a single floor. Monsters give you hints, but I can't tell if they are nonsense or just cryptic. It's the type of game where you could draw maps if you were inclined, including the symbols, but it's kinda fun to just wander. Although, if it gets more complex, maybe a map would be really helpful. Overall I'd say folks with good spatial memory might really enjoy this. Edit: probably the closest equivalent I can think of is Year Walk, but with less interaction. Seems like you only control your characters movement, not the environment. y2kmp3 Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2010 1,784 3 38 #12 y2kmp3, Feb 19, 2014 So are the levels procedurally generated or are they fixed? How many "mazes" are there in the game? InkyTheGhost Well-Known Member Jul 12, 2012 338 0 0 NYC #13 InkyTheGhost, Feb 19, 2014 I think they are fixed. Checked Sanuku's video and the levels looked the same. No idea how many there are, but the description mentions a megastructure... This is the first week I am actually anxiously waiting for the NZ releases to be available in the USA AppStore! This, perloo, GBA4ios2, tengami, luminetic land, and tengami shall all be mine! (In about 12 hours) Except this, I can get it as soon as the code I just purchased online arrives. I can barely contain my excitement.. (Had to tell my grandmother it was just an illusion from the pattern on my pants) Oh and wave wave too, but there's no thread for some reason.. Possibly because search engines can't search for a word twice, so it's seemingly difficult to find at this point..hmmph. Looking forward to getting enmeshed with it. ^_^ (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
