I bought it on release night and didn't post hoping it would go away. It has the potential to be so amazing. But the controls are like Strife's. It really is amazing looking, but the controls are really so bad that it just feels bad. The animations for fighting feel slow just because the controls aren't all there. But it isn't a bad game. There are some really cool things here and the graphics give off an awesome vibe. But ya, the controls... and invisible walls. I'm tempted-I see Morrowind-ish elements.. Looks very pretty and it's an RPG but the bad impressions and possible shilling are almost outweighing that. A first-person sci-fi roleplaying game from back yonder; the dev built everything-the gfx engine, physics,AI, music. It isnt impossible. ojtitus Well-Known Member Jul 7, 2010 3,228 5 38 Male Canton, Ohio #14 ojtitus, Jan 31, 2014 The name of the game you are talking about is Mission Europa, made by Ryan Mitchell. bigjack66 Well-Known Member Aug 5, 2013 664 0 0 #15 bigjack66, Jan 31, 2014 Just had a quick look first impressions are it's nice to look at with standard RPGs fetch quests as you say the left stick needs slowed down a bit and the right stick needs speeded up a bit. But you got to give these indie developers a chance they don't have the funding or massive staff the big companies have but they're more likely to listen to feedback if given positively rather than just complaining. sonnydeal Member Sep 10, 2013 5 0 0 #16 sonnydeal, Jan 31, 2014 I bought it. I'm not far into it, but it has a very Oblivion feel so far. The controls definetely need some tweaking. Looks like it may be well worth the price. nightshade3 Member Oct 22, 2013 9 0 0 #17 nightshade3, Jan 31, 2014 Thanks for the games name. Mission Europa feels kinda like when I first played Halo on the original Xbox. Full voice acting is drawing me in. Has sort of a Boderlands menu feel to it. loox Well-Known Member Feb 9, 2011 76 0 6 #18 loox, Feb 1, 2014 My interest is definitely piqued. I'm going to monitor this thread closely. My god I have too many apps and too little sleep. What Ryan Mitchell did was...insane. Didn't bother with any middleware. Or purchased art/sound assets. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
