The shogun has fallen from power, plunging the land into chaos as feuding feudal lords scramble to take his place. But the shogun has an ace up his sleeve: you! As the head of a leading ninja clan, it's up to you to rally your followers and help unify Japan! As their fearless leader, you'll need to train your fellow ninjas in the ways of modern 16th-century warfare--including the use of those newfangled matchlock guns! Assign them to infantry, cavalry, and other units to form an army fit for a shogun! Of course, war is costly in more ways than one. Between battles, your followers will raise funds by producing food, handicrafts, and other goods to sell to passing travellers. Arm your ninjas with the best gear, training, and skills and lead them to victory in the struggle for unification! You may even meet some of the era's greatest generals along the way... --- Try searching for "Kairosoft" to see all of our games, or visit us at https://kairopark.jp. I do like this one though! vii-Lucky Well-Known Member Jul 28, 2013 1,611 0 0 #6 vii-Lucky, Jan 19, 2014 I find it Expensive >.< PeteOzzy Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2013 4,596 3 0 Norwich, England #7 PeteOzzy, Jan 19, 2014 Looks like it's most related to Epic Space Story, though obviously Oh! Edo Towns thematically. Not that it matters - I've bought every one so far and will continue to do so. For once, they're actually releasing one of their more interesting Android titles, Pocket Stables was enjoyable but the topic wasn't quite my area. Personally though, I'd be quite happy for them to spam releases and catch up with Android though I know it will never happen... Samurai Well-Known Member Nov 23, 2011 107 0 16 #8 Samurai, Jan 19, 2014 Yes, it is very much like Epic Astro Story. You will also have to increase your Shogun's army (infantry, archers etc.) and your heroes will (hopefully) lead them to victory. USD $4.99 may seem a bit expensive for an iOS game, but this is a premium title. I like this a lot better than freemium games like Dream House Days. oooooomonkey Well-Known Member Jan 15, 2011 6,307 0 0 Forge World #9 oooooomonkey, Jan 19, 2014 I don't djstout Well-Known Member Jul 21, 2011 2,685 105 63 Sportscaster & football (soccer) coach Taiwan & Japan #10 djstout, Jan 19, 2014 Its been out for almost a month now, already bought it and love it so much! I had I hate this on my Android tablet but meant had this on my Android tablet. I had this on my Android tablet but like many of the Kairosoft games on Android I've hardly played them as I favor my iPad. One it comes out here I'll download and hopefully get to spend more time with it, looks very much like Epic Astro Story which I really liked. Snozberry Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2012 876 2 0 #12 Snozberry, Jan 19, 2014 I used to obsessively purchase every kairosoft game but I no longer feel that urge. Every game is basically a reskin. You can only play the same game so many times before getting over it. I know I'm going to be crucified for that, but wotevahh.. I used to be a hardcore kairosoft fan, I'd have crucified me as well, but it just loses it's magic. They need to hire a new executive producer or some brain stormers to give them a fresh edge and new ideas and gameplay elements. Samurai Well-Known Member Nov 23, 2011 107 0 16 #13 Samurai, Jan 20, 2014 You're not alone. I used to visit Kairosoft's homepage at least once per week to check if there are any new games, but it's lost a lot of it's magic. However I still purchase all their games without thinking about it. It's so relaxing to play a new kairosoft game on my couch. sladeums Well-Known Member Feb 2, 2012 607 0 0 Omaha, NE #14 sladeums, Jan 22, 2014 Out in US https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ninja-village/id792638268?mt=8 Drucifer Well-Known Member Mar 16, 2010 1,568 1 38 Canada #15 Drucifer, Jan 22, 2014 Yup. They are just ports, hence the virtual control options. It's not a matter of hiring someone. This one is more along the lines of Epic Astro Story which is also a great game, unlike EAS though this one is Universal. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
