I still remember the first Ridge Racer and the ability to take the disc out and put in a music CD and have your own soundtrack. Ridge Racer with Metallica's black album was great. Decent I guess. I don't like when I am racing and the other cars I am racing against are pretty much all the same model. I prefer to race against different car models. Also, why is it necessary to drift while driving on a straightaway? Drifting around corners sure, but while going straight? Apparently, this game isn't meant to bring anything new to the table as far as innovation. It appears to just be relying on the name of Ridge Racer. Do you even gain speed by slipstreaming in the game? kylera Member Nov 27, 2012 12 0 0 Seoul #18 kylera, Dec 18, 2013 Ridge Racer is very drift- and nitro-heavy - probably more so than Asphalt. At least, that's my impression.
