I can give you some tips with the map. - If you have plasma turrets in some of 4 turret locations surrounding the base, do not upgrade them to experimental turrets. There will be some dead zones that an experimental turret cannot cover. - Gatling turret works well against hounds and scorpions. - There will be a meat cloud in one of the waves. - Walls are the key for the victory.

Well, I am not sure if I am better than devs, but I can tell that I got much better, because I can finish the last stand on hard without much hustle. Survival is brutal though. I think first few waves (8-13) could use a bit of balancing for maps after the Saturn Uesugi base. I just get overwhelmed with sheer numbers before getting the first experimental out.

Almost now. That last red monster and my base exploded at the same time. On survival are there more turret slots? The first set of screenshots for the last stand look very different.
That was an old dev build. We actually cut turret platforms out as it was over kill and made the towers too OP. I shouldn't have shared that one! It's perfectly do-able with the current formula. Focusing on plasma turrets is one strategy that can work on some maps. Survival you can get quite far swapping turrets in and out. When the screen starts filling with red (elite monsters) you can switch out. I personally tend to go for a more diverse turret set-up. Never underestimate the power of the EMP either! Also just a quick heads up ladies and gentlemen. A new patch will soon be in review and hopefully out in the next 1-2 days. We have rolled back the normal mode difficulty on some maps. Asteroid and the Defence Platform will be the most noticeable as many players are getting stuck. Also the gatling gun has gotten a small buff. Will post patch notes once we are live.
By the way I’ve been wondering what is the damage range on turrets. Say a level1 MG is 2-40. Does the lower end represents the damage against demon armor while the higher is that against weak armor?
You are correct - The way information is displayed via the tactical database is currently in review - I'll leave it at that for now. There is discussion happening internally and once the dust has settled and we've fixed the most pressing issues I'll start to tease a bit more about future content

I did it!!! Finally completed the game on Hard. Now waiting on the new maps. Might be interesting to have survival maps with more turrets. Probably extends gameplay longer.
You should try the 3rd map on survival. The map is quite manageable on survival compared to other maps.
I'll share some dev survival progress on Saturn later today. I think on my last run I hit either 25 or 30. I don't have scores logged as we are frequently resetting our profiles whilst testing.
29 for me on the Saturn. The reason I asked is that, beyond the Uedi base, I cannot get passed wave 16 on half of the maps on survival, and I was wondering if I need to change around the tactics or it’s just maps themselves are too tough.
Oh sorry do you mean that all of the maps after the Saturn UEDI base? I would suggest using more of a variety of turrets. Lightning turrets are great but they aren't going to be very helpful against elite meat clouds.
