If you are talking about two turrets on the second image, they are lvl1 plasma turrets. I should of upgraded them at some point, but totally forgot about them. Having plasma turrets close to enemy spawn locations helps picking off hellish spawns, which leads to less spawnlings on the field.
That is correct so if you've got a bit of fuel left and a second shield available to deploy try get it down before the drone leaves the area
I use a very different turret configuration to Jstorm. It's really awesome to see everybody finding their own strategies. Lightning turrets are fairly good all rounders and that makes them effective on this map, especially during the mid waves that can pretty diverse. It also helps that they do decent damage to reinforced flesh so they can tackle the goliaths. Just make sure you've got at least 2 machine guns with rocket pods close to the command centre as their is a lot of air units on this map. Lightning turrets can also indirectly attack air units. If their attack kills a ground unit then there is a chance the discharge will bounce to a nearby unit (ground or air)
Congratulations @jelt2359! what was your commander centre health on after the final wave? Keep us posted on how you get on with carrier. Also post a screenshot of your tower configuration if you can right before you win or fail.
20+% I think. Using the charge attacks (with your hint on how to see if it's ready) helped me get past the flying meat.
Even the lightning turret's charged attacks work on the meat clouds, so I hit them with like 5 electric attacks and 2 rocket attacks at the end, took them out very fast.
OK the carrier level is even worse, ha. There are constant tiny enemies nibbling at my base. Is the best way to take them out by fire?
What @Jstorm said! The spawnlings can be controlled. Flame turrets can shine quite well on this map. Did the boss get to your command centre? https://ibb.co/4K6gmJv
Did the last patch include the survival mode wav tweak? I don’t see it in the change log on the App Store.
No, he didn't. Didn't even enter the area with the four turrets. He was close, but then I hit him with all my charged attacks and that was it.
It did Jstorm although I forgot to add it to the initial patch notes and once it went into review I could no longer edit. The changes are only minor adjustments to the mid and later waves to balance difficulty, picking up the pace a bit as well as some waves were staggering.
