STORY OVERVIEW Enter the world of HonorBound and take your role as the hero of a gripping fantasy story! You play as one of five epic heroes and fight to pull a land back from the brink of destruction. Are you a warrior? A rogue? A wizard, cleric or knight? The forces of chaos are laying siege to the realms. They will not stop until the world, and its people, lie in ashes. Ogres, orcs, dragons, even the dead themselves wander the land to spill the blood of the innocent. Standing against them are the HonorBound. Champions of the gods, these legends each embody one of the five elements - fiery Terra, wild Primal, celestial Lunar, pure Spirit and shrouded Abyss. Every cycle, an incarnation of the HonorBound is sent to stop evil and then slumber to regain their strength. But this cycle is different. This cycle is new. Awakened early in a land already wracked by chaos, you must raise an army, rebuild your powers and bring peace to the realm before it is too late. Will you answer the call? Giving it a shot now nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #9 nightc1, Feb 14, 2014 This looks pretty nice on the surface but its freemium so I guess I'll skip it. o0oJAKEo0o Well-Known Member May 23, 2012 322 1 16 Full-Time Student KCMO #10 o0oJAKEo0o, Feb 14, 2014 It's free so I won't try it. To bad it wasn't $.99.... Then I would give it a shot AJShadowz Member Nov 6, 2013 15 0 0 Security CA #11 AJShadowz, Feb 14, 2014 Although it looks fun, it's freemium and the IAP prices are rediculous. Looks like the type of game I usually skip. This will be no different. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #12 ste86uk, Feb 14, 2014 Downloading to try as it sounds great and suprised it doesn't have more attention. Heroes vs Monsters was free and never made me want to spend a penny. Rhino86 New Member Nov 15, 2013 2 0 0 #13 Rhino86, Feb 14, 2014 Saw the post for this yesterday and decided to give it a shot. Normally, I avoid freemium games like the plague, but it's hard to do that these days. I've never contributed a single cent towards a freemium game and I intend to stick to that going forward. Thus far, I'm really enjoying the game. I've only played for about two hours, but here are the positive points for me so far: - The artwork is amazing. The graphics are bright, clear and crisp and the movements are fluid. - Very few English grammatical/spelling errors thus far. - The game mechanics seem pretty cool. I like the upgrade system, but I can definitely see this falling prey to the IAP store. - Pokemon-like capture mechanic. I think this detracts from the freemium status of the game somewhat, as you're able to try and catch all the monsters you fight, however, the better ones have a much lower catch rate. I've played the game in ~30 minute intervals, so I haven't hit any freemium frustration... yet. However, I do rotate 3-4 freemium games when I want to enjoy a longer gaming session, which is pretty annoying. Currently playing Team Monster, Brave Frontier, Mini Warriors and this game on rotation. Based Xatu Well-Known Member Aug 27, 2013 1,937 0 0 #14 Based Xatu, Feb 14, 2014 Why are people skipping this got being free? The game is very generous in resources and you don't really need to spen money to get anything good. I received a 4 star rare companion for free- it was by chance- and it's an amazing asset to the team. The only complaint I have is how many things there are that can be restrictive to gameplay. worldcitizen1919 Well-Known Member Jun 27, 2012 1,615 0 36 #15 worldcitizen1919, Feb 15, 2014 It feels like a clone of another game can't put my hand on it. Its a very good game but I'd say more for kids than adults. I enjoyed it, good graphics and combat and a story but more for kids. rrevbra Well-Known Member Sep 3, 2012 94 0 0 #16 rrevbra, Feb 15, 2014 That's very odd way to judge a game. Many games in App Store use bright colored/cartoony graphics, simple story, and easy to learn mechanics. Do you feel these games also "for kids" ? JCho133 Well-Known Member Jul 27, 2012 7,907 27 48 #17 JCho133, Feb 15, 2014 This is basically Battleloot Adventure, but with more stylized art (that I prefer) but infected with free to play. I'm gonna go redownload Battleloot Adventures now. loox Well-Known Member Feb 9, 2011 76 0 6 #18 loox, Feb 15, 2014 Would love to see a review on this one mistborn Member Jan 7, 2013 8 0 1 #19 mistborn, Feb 16, 2014 I'm running out of energy within five minutes of gameplay. What the heck? Are you supposed to play in micro bursts only? matchstick New Member Nov 10, 2013 2 0 1 #20 matchstick, Feb 16, 2014 I have been playing for two days. Still no freemium frustration yet for me. I personally like the character design. The gameplay is similar to battleloot adventure. Besides the game is vy generous in giving resources. Give it a try, it's free anyway. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
