Amidst a civil war in a galaxy far, far away, the Emperor is building a Death Star level by level, and he needs your help. Intergalactic war is expensive, and space stations are, too. Do you have any idea how much it costs to build one the size of a moon? Live life on the dark side, and join Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader on a mission to attract Galactic bitizens, run intergalactic businesses, and build an all-new Death Star! With that hard-earned money, fund the Empire’s evil schemes to defeat the Rebels and conquer the galaxy once and for all! With the power of the Dark Side, you’ll be able to… BUILD THE LARGEST DEATH STAR AROUND: Earn credits to expand your Death Star, and build over 80 types of Star Wars themed residential and commercial floors like Rebo’s Karaoke and Cloud City Spa! HIRE STAR WARS GALACTIC BITIZENS: Attract over 30 unique species including Wookiees and Ewoks, and fulfill their dream jobs! Not everyone on the Death Star wants to be the Empire’s minion; some might just want to work at the local ice cream shop… FUEL THE EMPIRE’S EVIL SCHEMES UNDERGROUND: Below the hustle and bustle of the businesses above, build secretive, underground imperial levels to craft special supplies that will aide your Imperial troops in the fight against the Rebels. CAPTURE REBEL SPIES: As stealthy as your Death Star development may be, expect break-ins from Rebel spies such as Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and more! Capture them before they escape! UNLOCK ENTERTAINING STORY MOMENTS: While running your Death Star, keep your eyes peeled for new scenes featuring many of your favorite characters like Han Solo, Chewie, Jabba the Hutt, and more. Hurry and get on your way to building the largest, most destructive space station in the galaxy! Before you download this experience, please consider that this app contains social media links to connect with others, in-app purchases that cost real money, push notifications to let you know when we have exciting updates like new content, as well as advertising for The Walt Disney Family of Companies and some third parties and some third parties. A tid bit of complexity is added as now you can collect bitizens characters and 'scenes' in an album, there is also inventory with minor item crafting though the purpose of that is still unclear. There is also a constant stream of quests given by your 'boss' and Creative floors has been replaced by Imperial which again the purpose is unclear to me. Overall though I'm loving this game as much as I love Tiny Tower although for the downside there is less floors available to build than in the original TT. I played Tiny tower regularly, right until the point in the game where the next floor started taking more than 24 hours to build. My knowledge of Star Wars is limited to the main characters and basic premise. So I might not fully appreciate the bitbook jokes and "entertaining story moments". The bonus for fully stocking a floor is now a buying frenzy, no bux tip from elevator delivery, and only 1 bux bonus from matching dream job. Elevator delivery now also reduce restocking/construction timer by 1 minute There are more VIP type (floor upgrader and floor mover) You cannot cycle bitizens between jobs anymore. Now if you move a bitizen elsewhere from a fully stocked floor. The highest valued stock will cease selling. Upgrading a floor increase the amount of stocks available but not the restocking timer. Not sure if the increased stock is as much as the floor upgrade in TT though. That works well, EXCEPT it also excludes the iPod Touch 5g, which should have the specs to run the game. I really hope they make this iPod Tough 5g compatible before it gets released worldwide.
