I preferred the more "dedicated" drift-style tracks, but now we're entering Asphalt territory and it just won't compete with a game that popular. I think I'll stick with the previous entry. rIcHrAnDoM Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Nov 17, 2008 7,936 30 38 Steelworker/Welder Indiana, USA #8 rIcHrAnDoM, Oct 9, 2013 I had a lot of fun with the original Drift Mania and think I'll be picking this one up as well. I'm pretty sure there were people who wished while playing the previous games, that the series would move to the "streets". It's pretty expected, especially with all these Fast and Furious movies these days. Also, interesting point about Asphalt territory. I don't see how this moves the game into Asphalt territory? Not to choose one over the other, but I think both games have their good points, and are good at what they are. I mean, Asphalt isn't purely dedicated to drifting right? marclimkopi Active Member Jul 14, 2013 42 0 0 #11 marclimkopi, Oct 11, 2013 anyone else finding it hard to earn money in the game? ratrodstudio Well-Known Member Sep 10, 2009 198 0 0 #12 ratrodstudio, Oct 13, 2013 Try completing tournaments in Battle mode, on top of completing each round and earning money you get a reward at the end as well. I have been doing that, however, the last couple of tracks can't be unlocked unless I purchase them with currency earned in game. The tracks are pretty pricy, and on top of that upgrades have to be purchased as well. I was really interested in this, but if I'm paying .99 cents only to be hit up for more money in-game, I'll hold off. Sounds like an incomplete experience with some currency balancing issues. One other Q: is this tilt control only? marclimkopi Active Member Jul 14, 2013 42 0 0 #18 marclimkopi, Dec 1, 2013 There are alternate controls as well! An on screen wheel, if I remember correctly!
