Very well done. I expected something to do more with elegancy and skill; because you know how Brasil are , but apparently not. Still a pretty admirable logo.
I thought so too, but after looking at it for a bit and then looking at the "BRASIL" font underneath it, I think they were going more for a laid-back look... I hope...
Brazil are not as good as they use to be, still don't see anyone beating Brazil when it's in Brazil though. Maybe Germany with all there good new players.
Maybe it's just reveals something about the inner-working of my psych or something, but every time I look at it, I think "tree-groping". I'm not even kidding, it's like the yellow hand is groping hand-shaped trees. I love the font, though, but again, reminds me of Greenwise, the chic new Publix chain.
A flukey and fouling win for Holland that is. But I won't discuss this any longer, we've already reached an extent back in the other thread.
Yeah I saw the trees too, yellow hand is the trunk and green hands are the leaves. Pretty clever getting trees, hands and the world cup trophy all into one logo. Beats the hell out of London's 2012 Olympic depiction of Lisa Simpson performing oral sex.
Pretty decent comeback, actually. Props, I get sick of SJP99's jokes all the time. It's the registered trademark and copyright symbols to me. The black makes 'em really stick out. Takes away from the color.
I'm guessing those can be adjusted to suit the occasion, they're smaller in other pictures of the logo. I thought this was quite nice too: http://www.guiadacopa.net/2014/images/stories/logo_copa_brasil_2014.jpg A variation on the South Africa thing obviously, but more chilled out.
