Well, the game it's set to' release in july/august,Now in september, cause it's not a normal approval process and Apple had something in mind for it,working with the devs, well, maybe i say an heresy, but i start to' think that Apple want use 2013:infected wars at the presentation of the New iPhone 5S,like they always do,with iPhone 4S there was INFINITY BLADE 2,and 10 september there're an Apple event, strange, for the fact that is the first coop mutltiplayer TPS,maybe Apple doesn't have a game to' show at hte event,i'm only supposed this.
If I feel insulted by something you said, then you definitely insulted me. Its not my low self-esteem, that was just another one of your insults. Let me highlight something... Now tell me how that is not an insult. Anyway, IAPs themselves are not the reason why I am thinking of abandoning mobile gaming for good, its the quality of games, the developers making games based on the IAP foundation, rather than making the game first, then add IAPs to it. Its also the lack of genres that I like to play. I see no excuse for a dual currency in a 7$ non-mmo game. Its just greed. If people want to beat the game quicker make a cheat-button in the game not tons of IAPs.
Also, this is a game for us, but business for them. If they have the opportunity to make more money, they of course, would take it. I can't blame them for that as long as it's fair. Tyler has responded and confirmed that it is purely optional and doesn't interfere with gameplay. I would be upset if this was an IAP infested game with a premium price but for Infected wars that's not the case.
Enough with the pointless back and forth arguing please. Sidgoku123- You are inferring our plans with the iap system, without the slightest clue. We have no intent of hindering the gameplay experience for people that purchase a premium game.
I apologize for letting this run longer than it should have. I think all relevant points have been made (and then some). Time to move on.
What I don't understand is, if this was submitted on July 10. Why would Apple delay this game for september sometime?? That would be an approval process of 2 months (+) I know they might be featured but that's an unusual long time. What's the difference in approval time between featured and non featured apps? Maybe Rip, has a theory but I don't.
Mainly just comes down to bad timing. Apple had some major security issues on their site the day we submitted. That set the whole process back for a while.
If Apple is planning a feature, they likely approved the game ages ago. Keep in mind, though, that Apple usually features one game a week. I very much doubt that they decide on features on a week-by-week basis: they most likely have a calendar that's filled months in advance. It is very likely that the devs heard from Apple that they wanted to feature the game, but the earliest available slot was in September. I can easily understand why the devs would want to hold off the release till then -- wouldn't you? NVM -- Tyler has the answer for you.

I just read on their facebook page that they have a set date approved with Apple and it's coming "very soon". I'm not expecting it this week but probably in the next couple. Good news indeed
