No it's device dependent in the build. Otherwise your non tech person would turn on stuff their device can't handle and then flame us
Because it isnt crap. Seriously... Do you think any gaming news site will skip a game from a publisher like Square Enix?
Looks like crap to me My point is touch arcade does a lot of articles on puzzle games, etc...but don't have intentions on doing an article on infected wars?? Very bizarre?
Bloodmasque speaks for itslef when you've tried it. It isnt perfect, but it is much better than the majority of games on the appstore. As for TA's choices for which titles to cover, it is a bit unclear how they choose. One reason i can think of, is that they arent paid to start a buzz on a game. That's the marketing side of the dev team's job, and once they did theyre job of starting that buzz about their game, people will start asking questions. When these questions and interests grow, so are the chances of being decked into an article. I too am really looking forward to this game, but TA is the only place i've heard it from. I have friends who love iOS gaming, and they havent heard of 2013:IW. They do ask me about PvZ2, or Angry Birds Star Wars 2, or even a bit of Kemco's games, and they never visit Touch Arcade, and they arent even avid gamers. This suggests they got the buzz from a more public source like a social media site or something like that. Facebook is a good example... Try to get you game's info to rotate into the public, and you just might get TA's attention. Of course, this is just an observation. What's funny is that my mom asked me about PvZ2 as well, it freaked me out a bit at first. On the other hand, im sure there are just lucky devs that get TA's attention at first whiff of their game.
Blood masque is the my favourite game! Maybe the price-tag is off putting for some, but it pays-off instantly. The 24/7 connection is the major issue with it. But trust me, and TA & Exact. It seriously is good!
Beyond the recent Bloodmasque thing (haven't played it so don't know how good it is yet), I think this game will be unique enough to get plenty of coverage and gain a lot of momentum once its released. Hopefully anyway. The full coop aspect is pretty unique. Foursaken have done a truly excellent job so far at bringing it on to the platform and making it a key element (big Foursaken fan, them guys do a great job). I think this one ups the ante quite a bit in that area. Plus it looks great. I'm sure Bloodmasque is great in its own way and its own genre. Just as I'm pretty sure this will be great in its own particular genre also.
Yeah... I hope when this hits the appstore, TA will find it interesting enough to warrant an article. That remains to be seen. Cant wait for this game to go live.
That's a good explanation EP, I was just being rash with Blood Masque, it doesn't look bad and in all fairness, I haven't played it. Hearing about the "online only" play, really put me off but Square Enix make good games so I'm sure it's decent. I was just trying to make a point. Also, TA did already publish an article on Infected wars a couple years back when it was in early development. Maybe TA doesn't want to do another article on a zombie game just yet, because we all know they have done enough. Especially with the infamous Dead Trigger, " tech demo" fiasco. I'm just super pumped about this game. It kind of reminds me of a Left for dead on mobile so it has that going for it !!
I have to agree Rip, if this game is as good as I think it will be, word of mouth will spread the word and this game will gain publicity. Foursaken are amazing developers. NY zombies 2 was a great game, that I play from time to time but I have a feeling Infected wars will bring it to the next level. It would be amazing if it is released this Thursday !
Loads of silly minor releases this week but not 2013: infected wars I am getting cheesed off with ios games lately. Come on apple sort it out and release this game or something sensible to play
Completely agree, Apple likes to take their time with indie developers, but if it's the big guns like Gameloft or EA, they would approve a beta app and be featured in the game of the week, lol. I know this post is an exaggeration but you get my sarcasm.
Well even though we are not in the App Store as soon as we would like rest assured we are still working hard on our first free content update for the community!
