So did NBC get the rights and then they don't use them?? That's seems rather stupid. But then Bbc are showing every single sport on the red button so I'm in a nice privileged spot.
Damn that's insane. I love swimming myself and if I were at US I'd probably still be at the swimming team
Glad they did the right thing and banned all those badminton players, was a joke seeing them attempt to play and lose so they get an easier game in the next round. Terrible for the people who paid to watch.
USA now leading the medal count with 37 total and tied with China for most golds (18). Holy crap. 23 (11 golds) total from swimming. Lots to watch tonight on NBC.
ok swimming, track, diving, basketball, and gymnastics are pretty good sports but the greatest athletes and personnalities are hidden in minor sports. Like Gino Scappelloni here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=q8L77ljmIe4 Oh my gosh I'll be banned for this

I enjoyed watching all the rowing, cycling and sailing events over the past week. The swimming, canoeing, and gymnastics events were pretty entertaining too. Although I really don't like the fact that Football (soccer) is included as an Olympic sport. One of the reasons I enjoy watching the Olympics is to see events that aren't normally shown on TV. Don't get me wrong, football can be entertaining, but I can't help but feel it should be left out of the Olympics. We're 5th in the medals table now. Not that it really matters where we are. Great Britain had a very successful day yesterday, winning 3 gold medals and some silvers. Edit - Team GB is now 4th in the medal table. So long as we're above France, I'm happy
Nice to see GB in the top 5. Phelps gets his 21st. He's had an amazing career. Edit: It's actually pretty sad seeing a legend go. He's still so young. Doubt anyone will break his medal records during any of our lifetimes. One last race tomorrow.
What do you know? Phelps gets his 22nd medal, ending his career with 18 golds. GB is up to number 3 in medal count after a slow start, nice. The track events are about go get real.
Great to see Phelps get his final Olympic gold medal. What a champion. He must have a massive display cabinet to store all those medals. But the highlight of today for me was team GB's success in the rowing, cycling and track events. Amazing performances, especially by Jessica Ennis and Mo Farah.
Blake and Bolt doing work out there today in the 100m without even trying. Cant wait to see the finals tomorrow. Such insane times. Pistorius..damn. It's been a long journey for him, and he's making it count.
Yep definitely. Pistorius is amazing. Really don't get how so many people can make such hateful comments that he shouldn't be able to compete and such. Though there may be advantages, I feel that the disadvantages far outweigh them. And watching him come in second in the qualifying, that was pretty amazing
