This could quite easily be a rare example of a mobile version of a game completely slaughtering the console version, because NFS: The Run on 360 and PS3 is shockingly bad.
I wish I was, I had high hopes for the franchise restoring its former glory. Instead they just "borrowed" the engine Criterion used on Hot Pursuit and basically tried to make exactly the same game, only this one turned into a dull, glitchy mess. Obviously, reviews are just one guy's opinion and aren't the be all and end all, but I spent some time playing it and found myself agreeing 100% with all of the bad points raised. It pretty much got **** on by Destructoid and Giant Bomb... and rightfully so.
You do know the engine is the one used on Battlefield 3? Brand new this year. There is no way they borrowed the engine from Hot Persuit, it's the brand new Frostbite 2 engine. Just curious what console did you play this on? I had no flaws or glitches on PS3.
Yeah I did hear that actually, but it's still incredibly obvious they just attempted to duplicate the Hot Pursuit feel... and most of the gameplay too. Criterion know how to do it, Black Box don't. The glitches I had were mainly weird clipping and control issues when colliding with other cars and scenery, but it was frequent enough to make the game feel cheap. On Metacritic it's currently scored lower than ProStreet, which is commonly thought of as being a low point in the NFS history as well... and about equal with Undercover, which just plain bombed. Doesn't help its case much
That's Metacritic, probably the most flawed game review site ever made. People will give a good game a crap score because they compare it to previous versions of the game rather than other similar games.

Haha well it must use it then lol,the reviews have put me off getting it for now,although the only franchise allowed Porsches-ill have to get eventually
