A brand new game that a lot of us will be happy in seeing? That means either the dev is popular or the game is at least fairly anticipated. Am I right?
My new game I have just created my first app called Galactic Gun last week. A lite version will be available in a few days. I would appreciate a review on either one on this forum to see what you people think.
Just picked up GPA and will be getting Worms Crazy Golf tonight. Also, finally picked up Aiko Island after reading the review on the frontpage. MC3 and Battlefield 3 next week..holy shit. Not to mention this Wednesday.. October.
MC3 yes, touchgen said so. Battlefield would be logical because the console and pc versions are out next week
Aight, I'll let the cat out of the bag - its a touch-only RPG, the developers used to be from a very popular company but since set out on their own. As far as I know, this is their first title on iOS and there is a thread for it on TouchArcade, though it hasn't been posted in for a little bit. I think it looks really good, but unfortunately might be dwarfed by Mage Gauntlet. Starts with an F!
Oh yeah Fara, I'd forgotten about that, thought the beta was still going on. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
Ok sweet. I thought BF3 was due out in winter? Nice! To anyone wondering, Fara is an awesome action RPG. It has some very intuitive touch controls that work well. Also the artwork is great, story is humorous, and gameworld is completely open and explorable. Definitely recommended.
Yay you got it! I'm really excited about Fara, for some reason. Maybe even more than Mage Gauntlet. (gasp!) But that's because I haven't really read as much about MG. I'll be getting both, regardless.
Agreed. The story is definitely the best part. Although personally, I prefer the virtual stick. The touch controls do work well though. To each his own.
Yep, read that Fara was coming this morning on Colette's (TA writer) Twitter. Got Galaxy Pirate Adventure already. Getting Worms Crazy Golf tonight Fara, Mage Gauntlet, Bike Baron, and Fruit Ninja this Wedneday for me. Didn't bother with Flip Rider since BB looks so much better. Spent so freaking much already in October. Twice as much as September already and we're only half-way through. Already tons of good games announced for next week already as well. Damn. iOS release months are amazing. Holiday season is starting soon after too..looks like the summer drought is over. Edit: Will consider Robo5 as well for this Wed.
