Don't want to seem selfish here, but most of the people who still have 2nd gen's here are waiting for the 5th gen to come out before upgrading, so as a result we're still rocking a 2nd gen for the time being. It would be great if older device compatibility could be listed alongside the games?
Thats the phone. Besides, they'll probably release iPhone 5 in a year or two. So it's sort of the 5th gen but not really. Looking forward to wednesday, should be a lot of fun.
The thing is, a lot of the time we don't know what requirements a game will have before it launches. If the developers post here on TouchArcade and someone asks then yeah, sure, but a lot of games don't have that kind of luxury. It's why I've started to post requirements in the NZ threads...

There's no such thing as the iPod Touch 4S. Just an iPhone 4S. Yeah, unfortunately devs don't always disclose that detail and I know it's a lot of work going through threads or specifically asking devs for compatibility, but it would be great if the games that are known to support old devices are listed as such!
Mage Gauntlet approved. 10/20. $1.99 if you get it before Saturday, little fan bonus pet+hat pack if you get it before Monday. Otherwise it's $2.99, and that free pack becomes 2 buck IAP. Supports 2nd gen devices! Universal is planned, but iPad support isn't going to be in until the first update. We sure learned a lot about announcing complex games too early.
Anyone mention Robo5 is coming out the 20th? And yet everything dwarfs in comparison to MAGE GAUNTLET
