No, I'm pretty sure Warm Gun will be GOTW without contest. I'll be getting Siegecraft though. Can't ever skip on a game by CM.
Normally I'd agree with you, with a big-name shooter and all, but not in this case-Siegecraft is going to blow people away (pun intended ).
Lol, it doesn't matter how good a game is on the AppStore. It's how much visibility the game has. Warm Gun wins by far. Every site has covered it extensively; they use Twitter extensively, and people will always go for graphics over content, especially the panel deciding the GOTW at Apple. Siegecraft has barely been mentioned anywhere. FPS will always be the most popular games in any case.
Agreed. Even though it does look like Siegecraft might or might not be better than Warm Gun, since Warm Gun has more publicity than Siegecraft, Warm Gun will win GOTW. Plus, Warm Gun is an online FPS shooter, what do you expect? And, if Siegecraft and Warm Gun were releasing at the same time, which one would you buy first? I would probably pick Warm Gun and the. Siegecraft.
I do agree with you. I think it will surprise people though-amazing graphics, stellar gameplay, and a really different style. Josh will crank up the PR machine soon enough, I am sure. While Warm Gun may make more sales, I think Siegecraft will really knock people out.
Any pricing info? It does look awesome. Evertales should be great too. It's going to be an awesome week for the iOS like I said.
I haven't seen any pricing info at all. I didn't realize that Warm Guns was for the PC as well (and it looks like more later), that can be good and bad for the iOS version (thinking of Dungeon Defenders). It really is going to be quite a week. I can't wait to get iOS 5 running.
Maybe CM_Games will push the release of Siegecraft back for one week. I think they will release it on the 20th
Wow! That has been a long time since I saw it was going to be released. Is this updated over previous platforms or a straight port?
Also, Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots release October 20th. I'm not sure, but I believe it has been updated.
Ugh Kepa just said in the Mage Gauntlet thread that the game might possibly NOT be out this week - it's not officially approved yet.
