Thanks Sanuku Well-Known Member Jun 14, 2009 11,954 4 38 Austria http://www.touchgameplay.com #3 Sanuku, Aug 18, 2013 Played it already a bit earlier this Week and I overall do like the Core Gameplay of Little Galaxy a lot. The only thing that I kinda miss is a Story Plot that would make me want to keep playing it a bit longer since at the current moment it`s more an High Sore/Achievement Ride then actually an story-driven Platformer. If you are into those High Sore/Achievement Hunts I would probably rate it with an 4/5. If you are more into those story-driven Platformer then it would be probably be an 3/5. Wondering how TA will rate it in the longer run Capronissimo71 Well-Known Member Sep 5, 2011 1,305 137 63 Male Italy #4 Capronissimo71, Aug 18, 2013 Thanks Sanuku for your comments and your video. Mr. Ninja was more of a "fixed gravity" jumper, but this one has a bit of physics involved with each planet(-ish?)'s gravity. Im sold, that price tag makes it so much easier to decide. syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #6 syntheticvoid, Aug 18, 2013 Most of you know that I'm a complete sucker for these types of games, but the way that the mechanics, physics and progress is all handled is great. The game also looks great and has some nice animations as well.... It's also really smooth and responsive. No IAPs, GC leader boards with a progressing multiplier built by completing objectives... There are no achievements, but I think the objectives scratch that itch pretty well. I'm definitely glad I picked this one up... And anyone who enjoyed Mr Ninja or more recently, Alien With a Magnet (or any other rotating platform type game in the AppStore...), this might just be right up your ally. sink_or_swim Well-Known Member Feb 4, 2012 3,504 5 38 Germany #7 sink_or_swim, Aug 18, 2013 Thanks for the imps Void (btw glad you're back ) Bought ! I highly recommend Paper Galaxy over this. Just my 2 cents. This is Zynga-level knockoff. syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #12 syntheticvoid, Aug 20, 2013 It's sad that you clearly didn't play for more than 5 minutes then made a horrible assumption and statement like that. The more you play and complete objectives, the more the game opens up. I'm actually VERY surprised at how much they've put into this wonderful game. Paper Galaxy and Astronut don't come anywhere near to the level of polish and depth here... It's like Twang The Fox level when it comes to expanding on the genre. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #13 metalcasket, Aug 20, 2013 lol no. nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #14 nightc1, Aug 20, 2013 I know this is going to sound negative but I watched Sanuku's video and this looks painfully boring. I enjoyed Mr. Ninja for it's various game modes and more action oriented adventure. This seems very peaceful, which isn't a bad thing... it just makes it seem rather boring. Do the planets start to spin mega fast later or do something unique to make it seem like you need new skills or ideas of how to get better in the game? I understand the whole multiplier increasing the more you play. I've played other games like that and it can be fun... but here it just doesn't seem very interesting. Again, not really wanting to be negative. Just looking to see if there's something more to this that I'm missing from just watching the trailer and sanuku's play time with it. sink_or_swim Well-Known Member Feb 4, 2012 3,504 5 38 Germany #15 sink_or_swim, Aug 20, 2013 I played this for 10 minutes yesterday and I had the same thoughts.. It looks great but it's boring. Then I played a bit more and it gets way better. With every set of missions you complete there come new gameplay elements. It's still not groundbreaking but it's much more fun then I thought it will be after the first minutes. syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #16 syntheticvoid, Aug 20, 2013 Yes... Planets speed up, power ups are added, score+-time orbs appear, more time comets... After you hit a multiplier of about 16 it's a freakin blast nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #17 nightc1, Aug 20, 2013 Thanks.
