Sorry guys, the 20 codes are already taken. Look at the bottom for users who recieved a promo-code.

NOTE: Promo-codes only work in the us-store. If you have recieved a code and dont have access to us-store, let me know and Ill find a way to fix it.

    Hola everybody!

I have 20 free codes to give away for iCaramba Spanish Audio Dictionary

Just PM me your e-mail and Ill send one to you :)

Were hoping for feedback here to improve the app. Last time we asked the people of touchArcade to give us feedback on the iCaramba Spanish Course it led to several improvements, so I value your input greatly :)

Also, anybody putting in a review at iTunes will get Spanish Lesson 1 for free.

The approach weve taken with the dictionary is not to cram in every existing word in to it, but rather to include the 500 most useful and add audio to each of them. Another priority is to have a very easy navigation.

Ill leave you with some screenshots of the app.

    Hasta luego!

PM sent. I would leave a review to get lesson one. If I could learn some Spanish from lesson one, I would get the whole 1-10 app!

I forgot to put my email address in the first PM so I sent a second one with it.

    Code sent :)

I think so, yes, since it focuses on the basic and some of the most common words. Let me know of your oppinion and how they recieved it, it would be very interesting to know :)

Also, were currently working on Lessons 11-20 on the icaramba spanish course, and as they are released this dictionary will also expand.

    Code sent :)

I certainly think you can. This course isnt really new, but was actually converted from a course weve been distributing for the PC to various learning-institutes since 2005. And it has generally been recieved as a great way to learn Spanish individually, which is the reason why we thought it would suit the iPhone-platform (and other mobile devices, currently Nokia and Palm) as well. So yeah, I hope so - and I hope youll let me know if Im right or not :)

The interface is easy to use. You can sort the words in English or Spanish. The audio is very clear. Good app.

very nicely done, just posted a brief review in the store. I'd say the only thing missing is a search function. unless i'm just being blind and didn't see it.

Ive just distributed the first few codes for the Spanish Lesson for those who have reviewed the dictionary.

No, youre right. We actually do have a search-function, but it just seemed a bit superfluous to implement it in a dictionary that only focuses on the most common words and has a pretty quick alphabetical sort + search for any letter. But perhaps we made an error of judgement here - what do you think?

This app allows the user to find and English word, see the Spanish spelling, and then hear the corresponding pronunciation audio clip. The audio is clear and easy to understand. Hopefully, this is an indication of the quality of their accompanying Spanish lesson apps.
