I'm going on a two week vacation and need a iPhone game that has the playability and depth to entertain for at least that period. 15 minute sessions once or twice each day.

What would you recommend? Anything goes.

If you like word games Textropolis. Yes I'm the dev, but its really easy to sink hours into that game and there's no online component.

If you like word games of any sort you'll love Textropolis.

Also, if you like puzzle games get TanZen, Zentomino, and/or PathPix.

Zenonia is on sale for $3, great price.

    at my computer?
Star Hogs, there is online but you must play through the campaign to unlock all the weapons and stuff and get money to upgrade your ships before you take them online.

I can't believe no one has said (I think) baseball sluggers. Many people, including me, think it could be the best iphone game. Period.

There are other options you might consider. Although flight control games can take a long time, if you haven't played it, the first sessions won't take more than 10-15 minutes.

Also, I just bought Puzzlings and not only is the production value incredible, it's also an innovative match 3 which is great for short bursts of time.

Hope this helps and let us know what you decide.

No internet connection. Baseball Sluggers wouldn't be such a great idea.

I actually really enjoy playing sluggers w/o internet. Especially at the beginning, you can get lots of achievements and gold balls. Granted, you won't get as many gold balls as in multiplayer but it's still a heck of a game.

No need for internet version to have fun, because it's definitely made for short rounds of play.
Unlock everything then come back in two weeks ready to wreck online lol.
