Memory is wayyy to expensive in that small form factor at 32GB, and I highly recommend Fieldrunners, Tetris, Wave Blazer, and Dr. Awesome, but recommend waiting for Dropship.

I think we might be getting a 48gb iTouch and possibly a 32gb iPhone somewhere in the future.

Also, some must have games right now:
Brothers in Arms!!! SO fun!!!!!! - Best in the app store right now :)
Hero of Sparta (it's supposed to be in the app store today, so keep checking tonight)
    Fieldrunners
    Blackbeard's Assault - on sale for $1
Wave Blazer - on sale for $1
    TouchGrind
    Bike or Die 2
    Frenzic
    Fuzzle
    Quadrum:Colors
Nanosaur - and pretty much all other Pangea games
    Antimatter
    Snail Mail
    SPiN
Tap Tap Revolution (free, if you don't have)
Warfare Incorporated, best RTS on the iPhone right now

yes, but rather than 48, maybe 64. Apple would have a 12 GB, also if they decided on a 48, I just don't see it. Scifly replay value is low, but the others are great recommendations.

I actually wrote 48/64gb in my post at first but I edited it out because I was afraid someone would say that's too much. Even though I've heard from several places that we might be getting a 64gb itouch. No problem though.

I agree with you on SciFly. I'll take that one off :)

Yeah, 64Gb iPod Touch and 32Gb iPhone will come around the corner soon enough. Flash memory won't stay expensive for ever. ;)

I'm happy that people are really liking Quadrum. Its one of my favorites, but needs edited some to add more replay value.

Yea. To make 48, they would use a 32 and a 16, making 64 simpler. See iPod Touch replaces all of the cell gear with an extra memory slot, and Apple always uses matching pairs (8GB= 2 4GB). So 64 would cost maybe $50 more to make than a 48. So iPod Touch has 2 slots and iPhone only has one (for now)

maybe an iPhone 2-3 years from now, and an iPod Touch 4G (for those who can't count that would be 2 years.) Flash is expensive, and it will be around $5 a gig in large form factors and varying across small forms, i.e. SD cards v. the memory in MP3 players.
