1st Gen iPod Touch - BlueTooth?

    This might have been answered already, but...
    Peer to Peer was announced for 3.0 - using bluetooth. I know the iPod Touch 2G has bluetooth, but does the 1st gen? Or will there be no peer to peer for iPod Touch 1st Gen owners?

    Edit: Never mind - question answered. No BlueTooth. Let this thread die. Or the mods can delete it ;).

    1G has a bluetooth chip in it i know that.

    It has a chip google image it. Atleast i think it has a chip. But its locked spo it cant be used

    My first gen will be retired this fall. I cannot wait for the third gen. I hope they add gps. I really like the idea of some of these gps based games. Not to mention I could use it for biking and hiking.

    No, the first gen cannot be used. It doesnt have bluetooth.

    Since when? What can I do with it?

    Edit: sweet. Communication between the Nike thing and iPod for those who also didn't know.
    Think they're going to use it as proper Bluetooth for P2P?

    I think the bluetooth is in the 2g not the 1g model
