+1 That was a creepy game, and Jason was impossible to kill... The best scares were in Silent Hill 1 and 2 though.
^ how could i forget about that awesome series. I took my friend to see the movie on his Birthday When the credits started to roll we looked @ each othr wit big eyez and started laughing walking out of the theater. Personally, regardlezz of th t.i.m.e.z yall are bringing up some great memories! ThnX a bunch everybody! Keep em comming!!
Silent Hill 2 was the first game that ever made me jump while playing. After that, Fatal Frame 2.... The first FEAR got me too. =oP
Good question. But no game scared me until now. I felt uneasy by playing the last Tomb Raider, climbing up that gigantic tower to send a message for help. But not scared, no.
Fantastic game. I played the C64 port which was equally as great. But it wasn't my first scare. That would be the atrocious Friday the 13th game, also on the Commodore. Perhaps scared isn't the right word. Startled. As you go through this terrible game, sometimes you find the murdered body of one of the other people in the camp. When you do, the screen suddenly changes to a gory picture and you hear a digitised scream. Very much like those Flash based shockers that were floating around years ago. Truly awful. But it is a fright, so it counts.
I was going to say Resident Evil 2 as it was the first game that scared the stuff out of me that I actually finished but I have to cast my vote for the Friday 13th nes game. It wasnt so much the scare but tension and a feeling of losing hope every time I played it as it was imposible for me to be even moderately effective playing the game.
RE2: I didn't own a Psx, but my friend did. I went to his house, and he told me "Play this." And whenever there was a jump, he was ROLF-ing at me xDDD
