Early reviews of this game said this has "easier" levels than the first one but more "complex." Can you confirm or deny this? No matter, I loved the first one and whatever combination of levels this has, I will get it as soon as I can.
100% confirm. While it`s easier to see on the first look what you actually have to do most of the time it`s actually not that easy to do it the right way. I`m pretty sure everyone that liked the first One will for sure enjoy this one too.
Great game. Curious though why there are no achievements via GC. Leaderboards only. The first game had cheevos. Hopefully they add those in...
I'm very happy to see positive impressions here, to go along with the excellence I'm seeing in Sanuku's video.
I really liked the first and I have a thing for physics puzzle game. How is this one better and does it have more levels than the first?
I bought it for a friend as part of a slew of games I gifted him as a birthday gift, but honestly I personally didn't care for the first and have no interest in this one either. My friend on the other hand did like the first one, but he is a cheap iOS gamer who finds .99¢ too much to spend (we debate this all the time as he is a .99¢ champion who doesn't like to spend over that amount for iOS games despite his healthy addiction to Steam), so I bought him a bunch of "pricey games" to put him in his place, hehe! I'll ask him to drop by the forums and post his impressions, but honestly, there were too many other games that came out this week I spent my money on that took precedence over this one!
It's a really really nice - er - casual game. I mean it is really casual. So it is cool for the time you need something to do while you wait, etc but so far been really easy. Fun easy. But easy nonetheless.
Thanks. I had just wanted some simple impressions. Actually now I'm probably going to pass to save $$ for Breach & Clear
The original Sprinkle had 36 levels when it first was released. Sprinkle Islands has 48 levels and Game Center Achievements will be add later this summer. More levels will be added as well according to the developer. It's currently #5 on the best selling iPad apps. There are no in app purchases. I think the choice is clear. Go Sprinkle Islands, Go Yankees and my 'rents are from da Bronx...

Never played the first game myself, but I tried out the lite version and I enjoyed what this is offering. Definitely casual and not super original, but well done and fun to play. Reminds me of both Wimp and Lost Winds, which is obviously a good thing. I am assuming you have to put out the fires for the little townspeople? If so, that is a neat concept. Definitely enough here with the lite version to pick up the full, as I'm sure the puzzles get more complicated. Looks like there might even be some boss-like enemies to extinguish as well Good stuff.
Ha! Has anyone kept the water tower extended as you go underneath a short underpass? The tower gets caught as the fire truck keeps going forward, the front wheels of the truck come off the ground and then the tower springs back! Wow, that is the attention to detail I really love to see. A couple observations... I am wondering how this game would play if the truck was able to be manually controlled, instead of being on rails. I am also a little surprised that there is a button for the water and not a touch mechanism for where the water should be shot. This doesn't bother me one bit, as most games do use the touch option and the finger often blocks the action. I would recommend that the button have the option to be made invisible, simply for a cleaner look.
