And any IAP involved? Royce Well-Known Member Mar 22, 2011 4,240 180 63 #3 Royce, Jul 4, 2013 There is a $2 remove ads IAP, not sure if there are any others. I downloaded but don't know if I'll have time to get into it tonight. I'll let you know if I do. Hope IAP doesn't ruin it and it can be played without it Andre Well-Known Member Apr 11, 2012 3,643 2 38 #8 Andre, Jul 4, 2013 The ads is ruin the game. I can't play with this ads. It takes me angry. strivemind Well-Known Member Aug 11, 2010 2,784 2 38 Designer Ottawa, Canada http://www.strivemind.com/ #9 strivemind, Jul 4, 2013 This could've been great if it was a paid game with no freemium aspect. The biggest issue here is being able to pay gold to heal or resupply your units at any time. MarionHG New Member Aug 5, 2011 4 0 0 http://www.handy-games.com/public/index.php?language=en #10 MarionHG, Jul 4, 2013 Of course you can play the whole game without IAP. IAP not necessary! MarionHG New Member Aug 5, 2011 4 0 0 http://www.handy-games.com/public/index.php?language=en #11 MarionHG, Jul 4, 2013 You can remove the ads for $1.99 dexter77 Well-Known Member Jan 15, 2011 389 0 0 #12 dexter77, Jul 4, 2013 Looks nice but i'll wait for some more impressions! There's always a lot of confusion when a new freemium game comes out, first No IAP necessary and then opposite reactions, i was disappointed to discover after have bought the core dungeon in deep dungeon of doom that there was a paywall at some point....hope to see positive comments in the next hours because it looks intresting... Morgan01 Well-Known Member Apr 11, 2013 243 0 0 USA #13 Morgan01, Jul 4, 2013 Played for a bit. Many actions during game cost in-game-currency such as repairing and re supplying, as well as entrenching. My impressions while playing is that not enough in-game currency is rewarded to offset the survivability cost and that IAP will be required to advance through harder levels. This type of mechanics turn me off and I decided not to pursue the game further. Maybe other players will have a differant insight delving further into the game. dexter77 Well-Known Member Jan 15, 2011 389 0 0 #14 dexter77, Jul 4, 2013 This is exactly what i wanted to understand...Thanx!! gmattergames Well-Known Member Mar 1, 2013 607 42 28 #15 gmattergames, Jul 4, 2013 I had to laugh. On the US AppStore, someone gave the game 1 star because it allows you to play as a "Nazi", and litterally wrote, "what's next, a game that allows you to open fire on a Jewish village?". Not the stupid "gold coins" that is intended to be a cash cow and permits the buyer to cheat! I did download this game to see how it is and $2.00 to remove the ads..ok..but then to buy coins! Not a chance! I make a habit of boycotting such scamming marketing. BTW...some of you may think Battle Academy is expensive but with all the content included plus many players have contributed free scenarios this one is how a war game should be done...just sayin (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
