TheFrost Well-Known Member Nov 18, 2010 5,772 0 0 #11 TheFrost, May 29, 2013 I want to know this too, it will decide whether Ill buy it or not, game looks good though. GavinBowman Well-Known Member Dec 30, 2008 232 1 0 Los Angeles, CA http://retrodreamer.com/blog #12 GavinBowman, May 29, 2013 It's tilt only. Gabrien Well-Known Member Nov 24, 2009 5,148 0 36 #13 Gabrien, May 30, 2013 I bought this on the strength of being a big Velocispider fan. The gameplay is polished if fairly basic, tilt control works well (on the small screen). The egregious IAP push is almost certain to see this go down to half price then free shortly though, so I suggest holding off at least for now. Overall fairly disappointing. Otherwise I would have already bought it as it looks very nice and fun ElectricGrandpa Well-Known Member Sep 5, 2009 344 0 16 Game Developer Brampton, Ontario http://matt-rix.com #18 ElectricGrandpa, May 30, 2013 I bought the coin doubler, but that's it, and even that is unnecessary. Very few of the powerups are really needed for getting high scores, and the coins are super generous, especially once you get good at the game. In other words, in most IAP-focused games, you usually get coins at a fixed rate, regardless of skill. In this game, if you're good at it, you'll earn coins way faster than a beginner and never need to buy IAP. Also, all of the purchases are non-consumable, so once you buy something, you own it forever. GavinBowman Well-Known Member Dec 30, 2008 232 1 0 Los Angeles, CA http://retrodreamer.com/blog #19 GavinBowman, May 30, 2013 There are upgrades in the game that start at 150 coins, and like Matt said, there's 100+ coins from sub 1 minute games is not unusual, without the coin doubler. We do appreciate the feedback though. And if you do want to wait it out, we're planning to have a free ad supported version of the game at some point too.
